i wonder how people like you are able to function in life. The hysteria and overreactions that come daily must be overwhelming while you curl up in a ball in your safe space.

To Mars has been saying SEC would federal lawsuit about it, possibly in Alabama.

So, not surprising

i expected a fed lawsuit.

issue is SHOULD we lose in federal district court the federal appeals court for that district is in bama also.

the federal appeals in NOLA is for texas, LA, and MS regions.....the one in bama is for alabama, georgia and FLA.

they want all the possible home cooking they can get.

we may need a counter federal suit filed here in LA also.

Yeah, after the players get the injunction and someone signs them.

Randomly suing LSU before anything actually happens makes no sense and opens them up to a ton of liability in a countersuit if any school, anywhere, signs one of these players.

One player, one school. What happens if another SEC schools signs one of these guys?

i wanted out 20 years ago after the grand theft auburn game. we woulda been in BCS natty almost each year(maybe save 08)woulda made it 07,09 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) had we joined the big east. which disbanded for football in 2013 if i recall. then we woulda had to jump again.

i do not see them kicking us out. nor us leaving willfully. too much $$$$ involved now.

if it happened go indy and get your own TV contract like notre dame with NBC.

I’m no lawyer but I once read a John Grisham novel.

But preemptively suing LSU to stop them from playing the players does what? They know the ruling today will probably be in favor of the players. So now with this, doesn’t it now expose the SEC to damages from those players? Did they also file suit against Texas and the other schools with drafted players on the roster? I don’t see any way how a court is going to allow a blatant oversight where the conference is going to allow one member to violate the rule it is suing the other member over.

Okay but what are they suing for? The players are the ones suing not LSU so why would they be suing LSU? What for exactly? For something they might do? That is an easy dismissal.

Maybe Netflix or Amazon would be interested in tapping into the college football market. Get an exclusive streaming deal with them and no revenue sharing.

you don't see much home cooking out of federal judges. They are usually much more professional.
