That is absolutely ridiculous
I would rather them hand out free adderal to fans if they can’t handle the game being a little longer

Especially dumb is the 2 pick minimum

What next a max? Minimum pitches? Little League maximum pitches?

Just go to banana ball rules so the simplest creatures of society can be happy and have fun

Same rules the MLB uses.

Should be a limit of 3 pickoff pitches. The minimum 3 batter rule is terrible. The problem with the pickoff limit is that if you use all 2 (or 3 in my case) then the runner gains an advantage and can't be picked off. If the pitcher has a bad game then now you better hope he can figure it out before the next change. That only makes sense in pro ball.

So if a pitcher comes in and throws 8 straight balls and clearly something is wrong we can’t pull them?
This is stupid

Stolen bases will definitely go up

Kentucky is going to love the pickoff rule. Jay is going to hate the min batter rule with how much he loves matchups. Will be interesting to say the least.

Who was the pitcher we had that would hold the ball about a minute or longer, checking the runner at first? As i recall hus games were about 4 hours long.

ok, this rule sucks but is more stupid than anything.
Takes away true management of the game.

I don't have a problem with the 3 batter minimum. I don't like it being implemented for SEC games but not other games.
The 2 pickoff rule is absolutely retarded. It wasn't implemented in the majors to make the games go quicker, it was done to increase action and offense. College baseball doesn't need that.

Yeah, Its not bad at all. I don't think people realize getting to the half inning negates the rule.

Yeah you're right, Dathe had 5 appearances of 2 BF or less in 12 appearances; Benge and his meltdowns over Jay coming to the mound with 11 appearances of 2 BF or less in 16 total appearances

Anyone complaining about this doesn't understand baseball nor the direction it needs to go to improve the game. The MLB did the same thing and it did wonders.
