Mostly number 2 for me. We have eight tickets but will not renew. It is an all day commitment and we enjoy having people over to watch the game at house too so no reason to subsidize the wokeness.

I’m LSU to my bones. I’m just not giving LSU any of my money, right now, for a few reasons on your list. Yes I’m vaccinated, Yes it’s a bad team, but other reasons.

I’ll take any future tickets if you are still in same boat later in season.

You don’t even know what Marxism is

Marxism is the philosophy of German economist and philosopher Karl Marx. His philosophy was that there were basics 2 different classes of people: the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. The bourgeoisie were employers who controlled the means of production, the proletariat were the working-class people.

Marx believed the bourgeoisie oppressed and exploited the proletariat and that there should be a new economic system to replace capitalism. In this system, wealth would be distributed to those of the proletariat.

Marxism also grants enormous power to the government, under the woefully naïve premise that the government is fair and impartial.

So... basically... you useful idiots trust selfish, self serving political bureaucrats in government to provide you safety, security, and fairness. Meanwhile they are leading you down a path towards totalitarian hell.

CENTRAL.

MICHIGAN.

Why start stupid threads like this? It’s been this way for 20 years. Isn’t changing. The athletic department schedules these trash games and this turn out is completely normal for them. When Auburn Florida Arkansas and A&M come to town, the stadium is packed. Rinse and repeat.

The wholeness is not new. Did you think the school was going to change its mind?

Serious question…how have they “screwed up tailgating”? I tailgate just like I have for the last 26 years

8. We are in the middle of a pandemic so Im not going to expose myself to a large group of unvaccinated people who may, at times, yell. I’m trying not to be around people who cough in my face or yell right now. We all know the vaccine/test guidelines aren’t being enforced. So, I’m looking at the law of averages here. Yes, I believe that the odds are on my side but why take the risk. So, I choose to not take the risk.

If you watched the Penn St. / Auburn game last night, that will give you an idea what Tiger Stadium used to be like. Those were truly great times. Will we ever get back there? who knows. I think all of the reasons listed above are the primary cause. Free parking is now damn near in the next zip code. Traffic leaving the stadium is a nightmare because the city sits on their arse and won’t come up with a workable plan. The overall cost of a night in Tiger Stadium is now beyond many people’s budget. Also, the increased capacity of the stadium has really contributed to the overall problem. The demand is just not there except for 2 or 3 games a year. The infrastructure just can’t handle it. When capacity was less there was more demand for tickets making them more valuable. Consequently parking, traffic was much less of a problem. Will we ever get back to good old days , nope, but I’m sure glad I got to experience “the good old days”.

All of the above plus:
The weather
The opponent
The game experience (commercials, timeouts, traffic)

But guess what? They aren’t fricking asking for it. So I waltzed right in.

I haven’t been asked either. I was ready to show it, but it hasn’t been necessary.

Season ticket holder for 14 years. Wife has Covid - I tested negative - but didn't feel like making the 4 hour drive alone. Hotel room was cancelled so other option was sleeping at our Tiger's apartment - nope. Weather been bad down there all week and forecast said rain. All of that added together made Central Michigan seem like more than I wanted to fight for. Once hotel rooms get back to normal, one or both of us should be there for all home games. We have sat through 3 hour rain delays before and the older I get, the more I need the basic comforts for the game...

Oh and in reference to #6, for any game like McNeese or C. Michigan, tickets get given away for a bag of food to the local animal shelter. Not usually an issue of not finding a buyer.

4. COVID restriction - have the vaccine but despise the principle of requiring proof.
Actually 2 principles. Edwards and LSU are violating my Constitutional right to medical privacy. You know “my body-my choice”. And 2nd they are violating my Constitutional right to freedom of religion. One cannot buy or sell without the mark of the beast. I have both doses and am about to get my booster!
And
7. Awaiting a refund from LSU, so you are not using or selling the tickets.
