The restrictions are of no help to helping public health. None. I don’t want to support a farce.

Also after 24 years I’m tired of traffic. I’m tired of lines. I’m tired of cupcakes.

Friends aren’t tailgating like before.

Lastly, last year taught me I can live without it.

All of that said, I do miss true football ... Maybe I’ll break my stance for an auburn game?

We’ve had season tickets since ‘95. We moved to TX at the end of ‘96 and still make most games, including last year. We were there last weekend, but not last night. Sometimes it isn’t possible for us to come in due to other things. With that being said, we always give our tickets to our friends that we’ve sat with during that entire time for them to be used.

“I have season tickets and live a good ways away. I have not been able to sell two of my four.“

Hmmmmm ….either go to the game or give games like these to friends… or anyone on ticket exchange….

There are many reasons for the no-shows. Supply and Demand is a big factor. Auburn game will be interesting. Demand should be high. Tigers looked great Sat. Night. Optimism is there.

Bottom line for me is there has to be a way to fill the lower sections no matter what. If you are not going to game at least allow someone who wants
To go or donate tickets somehow.

Other stadiums are filled to capacity. I love a full stadium. Great energy! These last 2 games were not what I’m used to. At least we started the stadium WAVE last night. That was cool!

So I can assume you are against voter ID laws as well as restrictive voting measures. You know, since that also goes against the principles of the constitution.

I don’t know much about this, but if attendance is a problem for these OOC non marquee games, then give season ticket holders the option of paying a forfeiture fee to give their seats up for those games. Like a charitable contribution. and then package some group ticket packages for schools and scout troops and churches and what not at a discounted price.

Or better yet. Use these games for like a ticket swap. Give the season ticket holders in the uppers a chance to sit low.

Seems like you’d put more butts in seats that way, idk

My last in-person LSU game was seeing LSU mop the floor with Clemson in the National Title game. I will give $0 to LSU in ticket sales for the rest of my life after the BLM and George Floyd bullshite.

Minimal, but noticeable part, that was directly due to placating the morons that support said BLM and George Floyd bullshite.

I think the poor attendance is mostly related to Hurricane Ida (people displaced, lack of hotel rooms, etc) but I do think Covid-related stuff has a little to do with it. Some people people, mostly older, are worried about being around a large group of people and catching it while some don't agree with the entrance policy. Btw I've been to the games this year and the Covid entry policy is not enforced. For the McNeese game I had to ask the attendant if she wanted to see my proof of vaccination and she was like whatever. When I showed it she didn't even really look at it. You can show anything and probably get in. I didn't even show anything last night.

I love a good principled stand.

Then you should respect others' decision to stand on principle, even if you don't agree. If every SEC school was requiring the same "protocols" then I don't think people would really give a shite, but it's only LSU and Vandy that I'm aware of. If LSU isn't enforcing the measures they put in place, then they are the ones who are stupid as frick, because they are willing to lose money and alienate a large portion of their fanbase just so they can virtue signal.

When people turn on their televisions on Saturday afternoons and see packed stadiums all over the country with no Covid restrictions, yet they have to deal with this BS at home, then they get pissed. It doesn't help matters that many people view this as JBE using LSU football as leverage to coerce more people to submit to the vaccine.
