This is my take on all this, he and Ruffino are blow hards, you are better off watching OTB than these podcasters.
Scarborough is at every practice & press conference. Ruffino sits in his game room & rants at his monitor.

So you didn’t watch the 4th Q yet you are making comments about the end of the game. Do you not see a problem with this? Talking about something that you deliberately stopped watching doesn’t make any sense to me.

Had a 4th down touchdown against ole Miss last year and the TD pass to win in overtime in the same game.

Nuss did not put in 30% of the work that Burrow and Daniels did between their Junior and Senior years. ...The problem is between his ears and being unprepared.
Nuss didn’t use the VR system that made JD5 have that huge jump not even 10% of what JD5 did. What he is working on this week is “mental” and is having to put in his VR work this week.
Decision making has been horrendous. It’s time to stop coddling him and pull him when he makes a boneheaded decision."
That matches what I have seen and/or surmised. First, from McElroy to most LSU fans, he is slow to make decisions...McElroy said "he doesn't see the field well". Second, he is throwing to the wrong receivers which goes to the first point. I have pointed out several examples in the Ole Miss game where a receiver was open and he threw into double or triple coverage...on the same side of the field I might add. Third, IF he hasn't been using the VR system, that is a huge issue right there. Daniels used to turn it up FASTER than normal speed.
And I have to believe his reluctance to take some easy yards running is he doesn't want to take the chance of injury...understandable but you can't play football that way. Bottom line: an abdominal strain might explain inaccurate or low velocity passes but it doesn't explain his lack of scanning the field and predetermining where he is going to throw the ball.

people are upvoting a Scarborough take? the guy hasn't been relevant in 20 years and just looking for clicks. He's such a tool and Buddy is worse

This guy’s a clown shouldn’t even have a page and we shouldn’t give him 2 mins. AJ McCarron has shown video of Nuss grimacing and grabbing his abdomen after certain throws. Get this looser off the air waves. Bye Bye

How do you all know about this VR system? I’d love to hear more about it.
Is it proprietary to LSU or does most major programs have something similar?

Glen West of 24/7 wrote an article on July 30 stating that Nuss’s physical transformation was even more dramatic than expected. I’d take Glen’s word over Scike’s.
I think physically he's taking care of his body. He ran 21.4 miles per hour; that's high four fives. He can run. So, I think he clearly understands that when the opportunity arises, he can take off and be an effective runner. I think that's the growth," Kelly said.
No way in hell.

I think both are true. Work ethic, but also the way he threw some of those balls has to be injury. Aaron Murray did a film breakdown, and that first long pass to Thomas, Nuss barely got it 35 yards and didn't follow through. He just half-armed it to prevent putting pressure on core I guess.

Aj McCarron has done 0 film breakdown of Nuss. That's Aaron Murray.

Watch the Oline, watch the receivers and watch Nuss. It all has to work together. That guy is a complete dumbass and turd.

It has been publicly reported about Daniels extensive use of it. I think that maybe Burrow used it too but not positive it was there then. LSU is not the only school that has it. And it isn't just QBs that use it. Some other school said their DBs use it from the other side of the LOS...can't remember the school. Also, I would love to know if Nussmeier had extra sessions after practice was over with the WRs like Burrow was known for...and Daniels also I believe. Since these are not "team practices" there is no limit on how much time a QB can spend with a WR "on his own dime". I didn't have any proof that Nussmeier wasn't a hard worker but you have to really wonder...why in the world has the guy regressed from last season to this one. And no, it can't be explained away by the OL and the lack of a running game. LSU had no running game last year either.

He doesn't. He's fighting for attention and clicks with be rest of the yapping clueless "in the know-ers" who don't know shite

So, do you think he was at every off season workout too to know Nuss didn't put in the work then too? I highly doubt that he was. If he is at every practice and Nussmeier isn't putting in the time at practice, that's on him. As of now, it's easy to see he's not healthy, he has nowhere near the velocity on his throws he had last year. My point being, I don't think you can put all the blame on one person. Sloan, Davis, the OL are all contributing factors to the ineptness of this offense.

I thought there was an interview with Nuss saying he really doesn't have a heavy school workload kinda like Burrow did his final year. And that the VR system he uses alot like JD5 did. Maybe it was an interview with Mr. Get Gordon? I can't remember. So someone is lying. Either Nuss or Scar.

Nuss is a great practice QB. In games his thinking is flawed. He never looks to be in control of a game.

I heard from people who knew him in high school he acted spoiled and entitled. Would hope he’d have outgrown that by now.
That must have been later in his high school career. I saw a couple of games early in high school as he played with my nephew. I didn't get this impression from his teammates at that time.
Yeah, I don’t know who he’s talking to, because I live down the street from Garrett and Colton and whoever told him that is FOS
