I'd like it, but there are still several G5 schools that deserve a bump up, especially considering the P5 schools that gave done nothing despite all their resources (Iowa State, Kansas, Wake Forest, Duke, Purdue, etc).

Start with the G5 schools that have won BCS/NY6 games (UCF, Boise, Houston) and add a few others (like ECU, Cincinnati, Navy, BYU, etc).

I would tend to agree with it. Maybe allow 1 cupcake game and the other 3 have to be P5. But another "rule" would have to be in play because it's too easy for teams to schedule Purdue, Kansas, and Syracuse as their P5 teams.

Get rid of FCS on schedules and move to 8 teams if needed but no super conferences please. NFL is boring.

Having a few easy games built into your schedule gives you tune ups, allows you to rest key players,

I didn't know college football was about allowing your key players to rest. Everything about playing FCS schools is asinine. All that crap to beat someone 56-0 playing to a high school audience in the 4th quarter.

I understand what he's getting at but yea. That would be the end of little football.

I agree if you make it an 8-12 team playoff.

It would work but they would need to add one more week of playoffs and make it a top 8. That would work. And keep it to conference play.

Disagree. One of the (many) things that makes college football better than the NFL is that every game counts. You can't (and shouldn't) lose 6 games and be considered the league's champion.

Why do we insist on rewarding failure?

I'll pay money to see LSU play Oregon or Wisconsin or Michigan or Texas or florida state.

Not spending my time or my money to go watch bullshite teams from bullshite conferences and see LSU win 42-3.

Who cares what that gump coach has to say. He already controls the officials, now he wants to control the schedules and the playoffs. Hurry and leave nicky

I agree. I'm a fan of the NFL but do not feel devastated when my team loses because they can still get in the playoffs with numerous losses. When LSU loses a game, usually that means there will be no championship. It creates a much bigger atmosphere for every non-cupcake game (which is all but 2-3 games each year).
