When any icon educator (coach, band director, choir director, etc.) leaves, the interim hears, "Coach so and so didn't do it like this. That's not the way so and so said to do it." etc.
The program will coast for a while. Les Miles was great until Saban's recruits were gone.

I personally would not want to play them now. Even though their QB situation makes them a different team, they have a righteous indignation that is deserved.
