Recklessness

We are recklessly playing with disastrous consequences for the chance to add two guys in Week Zero who have never even attended a practice with the team. We just paid huge sums of money for a new coach, we have all the momentum in the world, and we are risking not just this but multiple seasons for the chance that these guys could contribute at some point in the future? This is idiotic hubris, and we'll all suffer for it if LSU leadership does not immediately correct course.

Dude. The SEC and 15 associated ADs are about to get its arse kicked in court and if anything LSU is protecting itself from serious and credible antitrust allegations

No Lane is trying to show how fugged up the rules are. Just taking advantage of every loophole he can until they’re forced to make some rules.

We are recklessly playing with disastrous consequences
By believing the SEC and Sankey when they say they will abide by the law?
Listening to some of you, one would believe LSU is the party facing Contempt of Court charges next Thursday, rather than Sankey and the SEC.

I played recklessly with a fart this morning and it still ended up better than your post.

“We” aren’t doing anything. You and I are not doing anything. If you don’t like it don’t support the team.

My goodness can Saturday get here already?

You're playing right into what the media and SEC rivals are trying to orchestrate -- you to get scared to put pressure on LSU to stop. The only thing I can see being an issue as a possibility is if the federal courts overrule and get involved.

Everything is doomed. We will be lucky if the Southland Conference will take us after this!

I've been an advocate for being cautious, but good lord, man.
The things I was a little concerned about have seemed to have been addressed based on what CLK has said in various interviews and press conferences. LSU has simply positioned itself to take advantage of a court ruling if it comes down in the favor of these athletes without having to scramble to do so. It's that simple.
Just wait until Thursday, things will be clarified.
