Quit blaming Coaching..The players are middle of the pack in talent. Blame transfer portal

When you go all the way and win it all your time is all about winning the championship and not recruiting your program....
Look at all the records this year.Everybody is equal in the s.E c..The Ncaa it's making the transfer portal after the tournament to make team equal. Blame them for not having the MLB draft and transfer portal 2weeks after the CWS.

Dude everyone gets blame for this. It's the worst SEC losing streak in LSU history,
Jay obviously isn't going to get fired or anything retarded and no one in their mind wants him gone but he gets all the credit for both the championships and this abomination.

I just don't like the drunks coming on here blaming Yeskie, Jay, Jordan.. We have the best coaching staff in america..
It is just hard to get top notch players when you are concentrating on winning the national championship

There was a serious lack of development between last year and this year. The majority of our returning pitchers are worse than they were a year ago. That is coaching and not a talent problem.
Maybe we don’t have enough talent to win the World Series this year. That’s fair. But we absolutely, positively have enough talent to be better than 6-15 in the SEC. if you guys honestly think that 14 SEC schools have more talent on their roster than we do, I don’t know what to tell you.

Blaming the transfer portal is a bullshite excuse. That is the kind of argument that might hold weight if it was the difference between us hosting, regional and traveling as a two seed. This was a cluster that starts at the top. Jay will fix it. But we can assign blame where it goes.

Ok I know most of our transfers have been arse but can we talk about how awesome Danny Lachenmeyer has been in SEC play? Dude’s been nails every time he’s been called upon over the last month.

Lachenmeyer has been awesome. Then Jay pulls him immediately for no reason so someone else can throw 97mph walks and strikes that land as hits. Lach is the only one pulled while performing great.

Obviously he and many other people like me think Jay will fix it. The team will be noticeably better by next year. Ed never came back and won a 2nd title. I believe Jay is too good a coach not to fix this. I think he knows this year was a disaster and will be motivated to fix it.
