I'm an LSU alumnus and I voted "no" because I don't like how this is making LSU look like we're not on the up and up, even though we're just playing the hand we were dealt.

Texas already has added players with NFL experience to its roster . Give this class their fifth year . The court has already decided they get a 5th year . Work towards fixing the issues next year . There are plenty of issues to fix .

Man its like some of y’all prefer the Kelly and McMahon era and refuse to do what it takes to win.

Yes, I am in favor of LSU rostering 105 players that get paid to play football, signed a contract to get that money, and hired an agent to handle their business. Players LSU has rostered since 2021. You know, professionals.

It's hard to choose unless you define "NFL experience". Harris was injured his entire stint with the Saints so does he have NFL experience? Wright practiced a couple of weeks but was injured and didn't participate in preseason. Does he have NFL experience? People keep throwing out terms like "pro" and "NFL player". Where exactly is the line in the sand?

Depends. If the player made a roster, no.
If they are a 5th year player and did not make a roster and got screwed by the last minute rule change, yes.
Because they would have been on the team anyway if the rule change had been made 6 months ago.

We have a talented roster. It’s not worth all of this for a couple of depth pieces. It sucks for the two players because they are getting a raw deal, but it’s the job of the folks running the athletic department and university to recognize that LSU is about way more than just these two players.

Adding players with NFL experience? Who are those?

The answer is you do not add NFL players to a college roster.

This is not the case for most of these players.

Lane gonna get himself and LSU Sean Paytoned

LSU fans just need to understand we will get the Roger Goodell treatment.

Is it worth it?

I am not in favor of it but I am also not in favor of the SEC making this am issue but letting Trinidad Chambliss and Cole Hudson play under different injunctions.
