To me you define NFL experience as any camp participation, mini camp or preseason whether you sign contract or not - or use the NFLPA accrued model, being on team roster for 1-2 nfl regular season games as it acres as full season towards pension.

I think these guys cshould be eligible because ncaa screwed them and they weren’t any more professional than the college players; both get paid except the guys that got cut in preseason got paid less lol

Ps I voted no - juice just isn’t worth the squeeze here.

For this year, due to the NCAA dragging their feet to officialize the 5 for 5 ruling? Absolutely add them.

I'm not worried about SEC repercussions. The TRO is worded to protect against the Rule of Restitution.

The preliminary injunction will last the entire season. When the season ends, the players drop the lawsuit, and the SEC cannot punish LSU retroactively.

No downside.

This is a NCAA problem. They should be taking the heat. It’s time to tell them to F off and create a new league. They are ran by idiots.

Look, if the rulings are that you can roster them and play them with no penalties and that is ironclad and the SEC or NCAA cannot levy heavy penalties or any penalties at all then I am ok with it. If there is any chance that it will cause LSU problems with the NCAA or SEC then it's not worth it. We have great players. We have a very good roster. Talent is not an issue here. I don't want any risk taken that could backfire on us with penalties etc.

This fan base is softer than I thought it was. A little media pressure and half of yall are willing to roll over, belly exposed.

To be clear, I think every single logical fan of every program is against former NFL players playing college football.

The issue here is players who have signed NFL contracts but never played. What's the difference between signing an NFL contract and signing an NIL contract?

Anyone who makes a 53-man roster shouldn't be allowed to come back. But nobody named in the lawsuits should be in that category. I don't even know if that counts as "NFL experience."

not really

I've seen a bunch of tigers fans between here and SEC rant not exactly liking this.

It's bad overall for the sport. I get that LSU could potentially benefit in the short term, but I'm looking past my nose here.

The NCAA handled it poorly months ago and has caused this mess. NCAA is also not consistent with anything they do or their rulings.

We are also using the term "NFL experience" loosely here. As long as LSU remains compliant with whatever is ordered by the judge (who I assume has the final authority here) then whatever. I just see this as opening another can of worms with another set of players down the line.

What is NFL experience? Trying out in the summer is not the same as playing a regular season game… so what is it? Is this like “what is a woman?” What is the line here?

They don’t have NFL experience. That’s the only reason the results aren’t 90/10.
