Yes the fans make him money.
But why can’t people be fans and also leave the man the frick alone when he goes out to eat somewhere? Grown men , especially ones who use their kids to approach celebrities or athletes, are pathetic. At most, a passing congratulations on the draft or something if he was to walk by but no reason to try to bother the dude and act like he really wants to talk to you.

Hope it works out but the writing on the wall. She seeks attention. He doesn't. Makes it very difficult in my mind. Since they are just dating might not be a big deal but could be someday.

Her first LSU boyfriend was an LSU pitcher from Canada I think. He transferred and she moved on quickly. Apparently she loves LSU baseball pitchers.

The maturity and leadership Skenes showed as a student-athlete on and off the field was remarkable. This guy gets it. Watching him pitch live in person and even on TV was a privilege.

That does not necessarily mean that they "crave" attention or that they are constantly seeking attention. It's part of the job, but it is not part of the job 24-7.
This board generates plenty of misogynistic posts accusing women of craving and constantly seeking attention. Despite the postings of incels and petty posters, not every attractive woman with a following craves attention or is constantly seeking it. Some women do; some don't.
Some get attention whether they want it or not. Some then channel the attention in a method that is more suitable and/or profitable for them.

I’ve seen a handful of times where people are trying to get photos with an athlete while they’re just trying to be a dad with their kids and it’s cringe. The biggest issue just seems to be that no one thinks there is a time and a place to bother them.

She was in a suite at his minor league games. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if she's the only one up there. Can't imagine suites are in high demand for minor league games.
