Texas and OU do not play each other the last week of the season. It's played in early October. Before A&M moved to the SEC, their game with Texas was played on Thanksgiving day.

Baloney. You can’t name one. The best you could do is the game that PP7 intercepted the ball and was ruled out of bounds. That was probably a bad call, although most of the pictures that get posted here were altered. But if you believe Jordan Jefferson was going to lead the Tigers to a TD on the ensuing drive you are delusional. Bama would have still had about an 80% chance of winning that game.

Texas plays OU in the RRS on the Texas State Fair weekend. That will never be moved.
The SEC is also not giving up the Texas vs A&M game on Thanksgiving weekend.

If you do not make the playoffs, what are your changes of winning the championships. You will not make the playoffs with Alabama & A&M in the your schedule.
Once the financial advantage kicks in A&M will always have a better roster than us.
Since 2006 we have 5-12 against Alabama. Overall we are 27-57-5 against Alabama and 10-30 against them in Tiger Stadium.
Only fools will want to play a team every year that has dominated us for the past 80 years.
Saban was asked if he wanted to play Tennessee or LSU as a permanent opponent when Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC. He said LSU, why because he though in the era of NIL we were the weaker oponent.

I feel pretty confident that Auburn and Bama will not be in our annuals. I just don’t see the SEC making them play 3 perennially ranked teams. I know AUs history. They are almost always bobbing up into the ranks.
