Last week an Indiana state circuit granted a TRO to two ineligible ex-Indiana football players enjoining the NCAA AND ALL CONFERENCES from prohibiting them from playing college football. Both players are now on Indiana’s roster.
I don’t know why you’re taking this stance when it’s objectively wrong. Yes leaving the SEC would be bad, it doesn’t change the fact that we are being singled out and railroaded.

I disagree. I know Ohio State was excited when we added Oregon, Washington, and USC. The Big Ten has revenue sharing as well, so adding another major brand like LSU would only strengthen the conference.

No Sankey should be removed and replaced with someone competent that doesn't cherry pick and lash out because of emotion. You can't pick and choose , i.e. Bama's NBA player as well as Ole Miss receiving virtually no repurcussions, and decide to try to unleash hell on LSU. Then proceed to lash out because you were humiliated in court when called out on your BS. This is a commissioner problem.

I'm explaining why the SEC and the members of the SEC see this situation differently. There's two components. First, clearly signing a professional contract is a brightline that they believe should not be crossed. Second, they believe suing the SEC is a big deal
It's not about hating LSU or Sankey being embarrassed or the SEC fearing LSU with Kiffin. It's those 2 things

That 12 game schedule of 4 in state schools, maybe 5. Throw in A service academy or two and FIU, USM, Ark State and others..... take away the 75 million LSU gets from the SEC..... yeah leave..... it would be program suicide.

I agree. The Big 10 is the place to go. They have won the last 3 football championships. The conference generally has more money than SEC schools.
LSU should try to persuade A&M to go with them. They aren't happy now that the longhorns are in the SEC. The Big 10 would drool over getting these two big and profitable schools in the league...would bring in 50 million new viewers to their footprint.
Big 10 would be West Coast to East Coast to Gulf Coast.

There is one alternative path: the Big10, and that's highly unlikely.
Otherwise, it would be suicide.
Larger, richer, and more prestigious programs have tried alternative funding and failed. Texas is the latest example. They had their own network and a disproportionate revenue share of the Big12. If anyone could have made it work, it was Texas. Where is Texas now?
