There was no beating A&M that night. LSU was totally outmatched against that defense and their offense while not elite was very good, so Reed was going to run all night.

Yeah they haven't practiced with pads and he hasn't had to throw against any pressure yet but I know what you're saying. I'm hoping he can really flourish under the Kiffin/Weis combo.

I just don't see the Clemson game being a dogfight. Their QB is inexperienced and pretty unproven. Our defense will likely be pretty tough. Travelling to Baton Rouge for a night game as his first game as a starter is likely to punch him in the mouth. Not saying he won't improve as the season goes on.

I can't even get across how happy I am that we don't have to hear "we have to coach better" after some team tearing us a new one. And then they'd make virtually zero adjustments for the next big opponent. God......I'm just so relieved that it's over and looking forward to this new staff and what they can put on the field.

There's that and also just the fact that the game has surpassed Torina. She doesn't have what it takes to beat the big teams and win the big games.
