The student section is in the northwest/north end zone.
Even though it’ll be pricier, I’d suggest the A&M game or Bama.
You don’t have to be a “big partiers” to enjoy our tailgates. Enjoy the food. Besides, even in October, you’ll need to drink plenty of water. Yes, it’ll still be hot and we’ll still be in shorts.
Introduce yourselves…stop and talk…and you’ll be fed. Our food tends to be more flavorful (some say spicey) compared to the Northeast.
Come and enjoy!

Hi. We live in Lenox, MA. Moved here from Baton Rouge 10 years ago. If you can reschedule for a night game, you will have a great experience. For possible tickets, check the Dandy Don website. You can also email him and he might help you find tickets. BTW—- I had tickets in the West Side upper deck for many years. They were great too!

Good luck.

I usually wait until the day off or right before to list tickets I haven’t already sold or given away. This way they end up being used by Tiger fans because it’s too late for visiting fans to make travel arrangements
Well if you don't want to go through all that, feel free to just sell to me. I'm in B.R.

If it is indeed an 11:00am game it just will not be a tiger stadium experiance. Tenn fans love the early kick off. LSU fans hate it. Playing MSU to boot. I’m sure you will still have fun, just know that isn’t what people talk about when they talk about game day in Tiger stadium.

I wish you could time travel to about 2005-2010, those game days were head and shoulders above the current experience. But I digress.

Walk around and tell people you’re from out of town, you’ll be fed and “watered” until you can’t take anymore.

2011, I had just moved to Houston. I met a guy from Germany here and took him to an LSU GAME.
I had plenty friends there to tailgate with, but we walked around and he kept meeting people,

It’s one of the best game day experiences I ever had because, I was with him. lol.

We were in the stadium about halfway up the lower bowl on the 50yd line.
My buddy is asking some really basic questions because he doesn’t understand the game. I’m explaining it to him.

The guy in front of us turns around kind of fussing, “how do you not know this” kind of attitude.
I tell the guy over the crowd, “He’s from Germany and has no idea what football is!”
Suddenly, this guy becomes his new best friend. Everytime something happens this guy starts explaining it to him, and high-fiving him, etc.
it was pretty funny. Was a great day!

Good choice. Hopefully it will be a night game but even if not the brutal summer heat should have broken by then. Maybe. I’ve never been a big fan of aTm but my dislike turned visceral after our 74-72 loss in 2018 in 7 OTs. That game nearly killed me

Unfortunately you won’t get the full experience at the msu game. Traveling as far as you are for a once in a lifetime experience. I would do my best to reschedule. As the other poster said. You need a night game against Clemson, a&m, Texas or bama Every other home game this season will pale in comparison.

New Englanders, take him up on this. You will have a great time. You should definitely wear your school colors, with a little LSU as well. Y’all will have a great time. It sucks that the game is so early, so you won’t get the true 100% experience, but will still have a great time.

Avoyellescoonass, thank you for extending them the invitation. I knew someone was going to do exactly that. Makes me proud to be a Tiger and fellow coonass !!! Makes me want to show up for this game as well !
