I am not saying that Brown should be dominating. But he should be giving a much better effort than he is showing.
Experience and skills development will improve his ability. But his lack of effort is a personal responsibility.

Yes. He is a freshman and he missed spring practice. However, watching him in games he doesn’t show much effort. It looks like he has been moved down to the 3rd team.
Geralds is also a freshman, but did have a spring with the team. The biggest difference I see between Geralds and Brown is the effort, energy Geralds brings. Also, Geralds played in a higher classification in high school. Brown played at U-High where the competition level is pretty low.

#55 on defense is a non factor though. Understand that he is a freshman and didn’t report until summer, but he shows little effort when on the field. Looks like he’s been demoted to third team.

Yes. Rueben Randle. Jimmy Gilbert. Josh Downs. And another DT that was a starter at LSU but got into drug issues when he left LSU.

Dale made LSU basketball relevant and generally successful. Not a powerhouse by any means.
