Seems like that was every routine all night. Yet we still hade a chance at the end.

Do that one little hop cost us or was the score too low regardless?
Posted on 4/18/26 at 5:27 pm to bigberg2000
If she got a 10 out of it. But they waited until she was done before scoring the OU girl. Probably screwed regardless

Taking a long time for the beam score is typically after a fall or gigantic balance movements, not on a stick with a 9+ score.
Wonder if the judge/s can sleep tonight?

Stay away from sports that rely upon humans as does gymnastics...your blood pressure will thank me sooner rather than later.

They will sleep like babies because they got their desired outcome.

Seems pretty obvious why they held up Lexi's routine. They had to get OU ahead of LSU so they could fix the scoring. Just so happened to get lucky that they made her wait so long that she fell.

That is worthy of an explanation. That was way too long. You could call that fall after that length of time.

Cauble had a tweet...
One judge scored our first beam routine, Coen, as a 9.95, a judge on the OU payroll gave it a 9.75. The holdup was reviewing everything again.
9.75... are you kidding me? That judge should have to answer questions from the BR media.
The fix was in. Look at Drayton's beam score. No way that wasn't 9.9+.

You take sports way too seriously, bro.

Why is this allowed?

Faith Torres on bars landing swung her arms AND took a step. That's an automatic 2 tenths deduction, right? Yet she got a 9.85. Then she hops on the rebound on her final pass on floor, which should be at least a tenth deduction, and STILL gets a 9.95.
That's one tenth right there that would've been the difference in winning and losing.

Pretty sure that's tongue in cheek.
But the point is how do you have that kind of discrepancy in scores? And why?
That's super fishy and a indication of frickery afoot.

Can you provide an example? I doubt we get screwed much in golf but that’s about it.

Congratulations to the ladies on a great season.
Sure, they’ve set the standard high so we’re disappointed we didn’t win another national championship, but let’s enjoy the good times while they are here.

Florida fan here and agree with all the comments regarding OU being overscored. The Tigers performed well and should have won. Although we weren’t in it like I hoped we would have been, I thought we had several scores that were lower for similar hops/wobbles that OU had.

I think Jennie really needs to get a better vault coach. Florida is always outstanding on bars and beam imo, she recruits exceptionally well. Just needs a better coach to develop on vault

Second in the nation is absolutely solid. Congratulation are due to the team and coaches.

At least the one thing that the entire gymternet minus Oklahoma fans can collectively agree on is the fact that we were robbed at the championship today and that includes every single Gator fan
