I don’t know the ins and outs on scoring either, but it definitely always seems like OU scores are 9.9+ on floor every year for basically prancing around and dancing.

Not disagreeing, but if we just had 2-3 more sticks tnan we did we win it

That shite was captivating to watch. I know next to nothing about gymnastics and even I got a weird feeling about those scores they were throwing at OU on floor. Chalked it up to me not knowing any better but it seems like people agree
Every single person on the gymnastics Reddit is calling out the bullshite. They all thought lsu should have won. It’s not just P&G glasses. This nonsense happens every year in OUs favor

Bottom line, we were leading at the 4th rotation. If we scored 9.9's from everyone we would have handily won. But 9.8s doesn't win against OK. You have to be almost perfect to beat them. Runner up is nothing to sneeze at or be upset about. Come back next year stronger and better.

And they are 4th best in the country over the full season. LSU was first. But sure, those routines were judged fairly.
Exactly, yet LSU was woefully underscored and Oklahoma over scored on these events…obvious mistakes barely penalized for OU and LSU overly penalized for minor mistakes

Come back next year with OU as your team name.
9.9 s on that many floor routines without super routines is unheard of.

If floor was scored the way it was the entire meet its a different discussion. Lots of better routines across the other but somehow the last rotation gets here and average routines that scored 9.85-9.875 all season go 9.9375 and the anchors had a massive hop on her final pass scoring a 9.950 (Higher then ANY of LSUs routines on floor)

Just change all the routines to match the easiness of OUs and dare the judges to score the same performances differently.

As Skip said you have to be 3 runs better than the officials, Gymnastics needs to be 0.3 better than OU to have a chance.
Someone should use AI to block out uniforms and faces, and see how it's scored.

Goes back to the OU vault with a big side step & tippy toe finish scores a 9.96 to our vault stick getting scored a 9.88.

Great year, to almost win a natty with the amount of talent LSU lost from last years squad was impressive. Definitely need to get a few faces healthy, probably add a transfer or two and make another run next year.
I'm sure Jay is itching for that top 2027 class to get in, more star power is on the way

Looking back. Icing Lexie was the deal breaker. We still have to figure out the landings. I have no idea how we do it but to beat OU you have to figure it out!

I am certainly no expert, but apparently your heel doesn't have to touch the ground for OU.
And also your chest can keep falling forward and never stop but get credited with a stick for OU on vault.

He should absolutely call out the bullshite judging.
Not like they can frick them harder.

You almost knew what was going to happen today and it still isn’t any less painful watching OU’s methodology. But like I’ve said many times it’s up to LSU to dial it back on the floor if OU hasn’t been punished in over a decade for it

And the final is why Gymnastics is not a sport, it’s an athletic event. Anything involving judges is not a sport!!!

first time ever watched starting 3rd round:
1. The wait was certainly not right and unfair.
2. I think her score was lower than the OU girl who fell as well.

Coen and Emily Innes had routines exactly like OU but somehow scoring near a full .100 lower for pretty much the same routines
