If CLK has a stud, he uses him and frick any “rotation.”

Lacy had over 250 carries this season.

Now can you understand why Kiffin does not want Frank Wilson on his staff?

Lacy would rumble for 25 yards on the first play of the game and then Wilson would sit him for the rest of the half.
This was not a good hire. I just hope the Tulane AD fires him before he does too much damage and sinks the program into a decade of irrelevance.

all balls are round.

Ignorant comment.

“Roundball” has been the sports journalist’s colloquialism for basketball for decades.

I have no idea if Koval is actually any good, but she's a quantum leap forward relative to ADR.

A rock would have been a quantum leap forward from ADR.
I’ll trust CLK on this. If he wants Underwood, I want Underwood. If he doesn’t, then neither do I.

As far as posts on here it is just tiresome to wade through all of the posters that have to post in every WBB thread about how much they don't care etc. Very strange behavior if you ask me. I don't go to the soccer board and post bad things about soccer; I just ignore it since it is irrelevant to me.

Because they’re fricking losers who are desperately trying to give their shitty lives a little meaning and think that in cutting down women’s sports, they are fulfilling that in some tiny way.

And they’re morons. “Nobody cares about WBB!” when the fricking PMAC is packed every game.
Good post with a reasonable question. This board is mostly morons which is the reason you have more downvotes than up.

Kiffin will be Kiffin. He will likely coach the occasional frustrating game that will make fans grit their teeth. But the difference between CLK and CBK? Kiffin is a proven big winner in the SEC.

So like Kelly, we can say of Kiffin: give this guy LSU’s resources and the sky is the limit. I thought CBK would be a more cerebral if a little less disciplined Saban. Nobody foresaw him checking out and the 400 rounds of golf, etc.

I don’t see that with Kiffin. As far as his tweeting and eccentricity? Just like Les’s goofy personality and Orgeron being a general moron, just win big and those are endearing traits. Don’t meet expectations? Then yeah, it’s a problem.

Again, the guy is a proven big winner in the SEC and an offensive mastermind at a school with far less resources than LSU.

LSU fans have every right to be excited about the upcoming Kiffin regime.
You can forget that. The big boosters put their foot down and informed Lane. No way does O return. Not that Lane was inclined to hire him anyway.
Seems like ERob is not really hungry for a championship and is looking for a place to coast. If so, we don’t need him. We’ve had enough of that lately.
The big boosters put their foot down. No way in hell O will ever return.
He’ll be a Ram when Matt Stafford retires. Playing in Sean McVay’s offense will liven him up.
ERob has gone from definite to very tentative. He could still end up at LSU but his name should probably be taken down for now.

Seems like they got satisfactory news from E Rob. Would make sense. He worked under Rhule at Temple. It also seems like they weren't firing their DL coach without a good idea of who the next one might be.

I’m afraid you’re right. Robinson was still “shopping around.” He knew Rhule and did not know Kiffin. But hell, if he chose Nebraska because he’s looking for a place to coast, we don’t want him anyway.

We’ll do fine on a DL hire. And no. It won’t be Orgeron.
Nobody is agonizing and fretting over ways to keep Frank Wilson. The handwriting is on the wall that he has no place on Lane Kiffin’s coaching staff.

I’m glad for their success and I am rooting for them. But Tulane is in a precarious position. One bad hire could upset the apple cart and it won’t be so easy to return to winning. I’m afraid Hall may be that one bad hire.

Orgeron would have been a bad hire too but he would have brought more good things to the table than Hall. Hall is not “promoting from within.” He is a losing retread HC who does not deserve a second chance with what has become an excellent Tulane program.

This is the same as if LSU had hired Frank Wilson as the permanent head coach.

If they hire Frank, nobody else would ever sign another major Nola recruit. Ever.

This is so goddamn stupid.
We should have a Degenerate Gamblers board where shite like this doesn’t clutter the rant.
Official enough that Chicken has him listed on the pinned post at the top.

Chicken has been pretty cautious before he throws a name on there as “official.”

About as good a matchup and situation as we can hope for given this horrible offense and another frustrating season.
I do think Tulane should stick with the “up and comer” model that’s worked well.

Not a retread like Orgeron. He’s just looking for a paycheck.
