This ^^^^^

LSU's career assist leader and no. 7 all time scorer and seldom gets a mention among the LSU greats.

And did it playing on some really bad LSU teams. Of LSU players from the '70s, he and Scales had the game that would've best translated to present day NBA. Was the best scoring guard we had between the Maravich and Chris Jackson era.

She ended up marrying Leroy Lang, one of the PE coaches there.

I would argue that the entire 1985-86 roster that made the Final Four was underrated. Dale had a way of bringing out the best of virtually everyone who played for him. That was an amazing year.

First John Williams, the only LSU player who could play all five poistions.

Second Ethan Martin

Third Jerry Reynolds

On my rating system Pete is by far and away the number 1 LSU player all time, Jerry is one of the top 20 all time.

I love Ronald Dupree and Lamont Roland getting their laurels, but those guys were John Brady's guys.

Vernel Singleton or "band aid" as he was nicknamed. Clarence Ceasar was another good one and of course Mo Williams.

I actually thought that team was pretty darn talented, I think those who underrated them were not really paying attention......John Williams - you could make an argument he was the 3 most talented players ever to play here. Derrick Taylor and Don Redden were talented and very experienced. Anthony Wilson was a very good shooter and underrated all around player, Blanton was a talent.

Now the team the next year that made the elite 8 and came within a point of the final four...and did not get their first two games at home to help them get there.....that team really overachieved. They were not underrated, they just really were not all that talented, but they could play D and they milked that for all they could.
