Was looking at some of the players who transferred out and how they were doing. Staff did a good job of retaining players who would contribute and letting ones who wouldnt walk.

Colin Hurley QB - Doesn't look like hes currently on a roster
Michael Van Buren QB (USF) - Currently starting - 1266 Yards / 6 TDs / 0 INTs

Ju'Juan Johnson RB (Syracuse) - 38 Carries / 133 Yards / 1TD
Kaleb Jackson RB (UNC) - 1 Carry / 1 Yard
JT Lindsey RB (OM) - 25 Carries / 86 Yards

Kylan Billiot WR (JMU) - No Stats Recorded
Jelani Watkins WR (No Team) - Had 4 catches for Arkansas before leaving the team recently
Kyle Parker WR (Ohio State) - 1 Catch / 16 Yards
Taron Francis WR (WVU) - 1 Rush? / 3 Yards - No receptions
Nic Anderson WR (Kentucky) - 17 Catches /197 Yards / 1TD
Donovan Green TE (Oklahoma St) - 1 Catch / 17 Yards

Carius Curne OT (Ole Miss) - 0 recorded snaps
Tyree Adams OT (Texas A&M) - Starting LT at A&M, not terrible but seems to consistently have around a 60 pff grade in games this year.
Coen Echols OG (Texas A&M) - Played in 5 games this year but no starts.
DJ Chester OG (Miss State) - Starting LG for Miss State, cant find any grades on his play at Miss State so far but hasnt looked good in games.
Paul Mubenga OG (Nebraska) - Website states hes played in every game with 5 starts this year.
Ory Williams OT (Tennessee) - listed as the backup Right Tackle
Tyler Miller OT (Miss State) - Dont see him listed at all on Miss States depth chart.
Ethan Calloway OT (Wake Forest) - Do not see him listed on the depth chart.

Zion Williams DT (Texas) - 1 Tackle
Sydir Mitchell DT (Wake Forest) - 1 Tackle
Ahmad Breaux DT (Kentucky) - 10 Tackles / 1.5 Sacks / 1.5 TFL
CJ Jackson DE (Vandy) - No Stats Recorded

Ashton Stamps CB (ASU) - Starting corner at ASU - 22 Tackles on the year. Coverage grade looks to be a 69.9 on the year.
Javien Toviano S (No Team) - not currently on a team
Austin Ausberry S (Baylor) - Dont see him listed on the Baylor depth chart
Jardin Gilbert S (Miss State) - Starting safety at Miss State, Seems to be a decent starter for a mid level team.
Jacob Bradford S (WVU) - not listed on WVU depth chart
Joel Roger's S (UTSA) - third string safety on depth chart.

Not a lot to miss. Breax would have been solid rotational player

Seems like we made a lot of good roster decisions.

Breaux and Stamps would have been nice depth pieces, but that’s about it. I hate to say it about Breaux as a Ruston guy, but he would have had less activity this year than last.

Slightly surprised by a few of the WRs everything else is pretty much as expected.

If I had to pick one to have remained, it would be Tyree Adams. Mostly b/c he's OL.

I was really a fan of Kyle Parker… not sure what his thought process was going to OSU. Feel like he could have contributed this year.

Not sure how hard Lane tried to retain him, but this is a great example of grass isn't always greener...

I went thru these recently, and several of the former DBs have been playing well, namely Stamps and Jordan Allen. Allen will likely be an all conference player with a shot at the pros later in the draft.

Great illustration of just how untalented last year's squad was.

The talk for a couple years was “Colin Hurley is just 16-17! What potential!”

All he did at LSU was run his car into that oak tree and thankfully, he’s all right.

How often do players who reclassify even work out? I feel like every player who reclassifies never ends up being good

Especially at QB. I can't think of even 1 that has not regretted it.

I can understand reclassifying for basketball or baseball but it makes no sense to do that for football

Maybe would have liked to see Adams, Mubenga or Echols at guard.

idk if they’re better but it a rough spot.
