Fantastic, needs a temporary bye week sticky IMO.

I think Kyle Parker would have killed it in this offense. Obviously, Stamps would have been a competitor. But overall-we have to be happy with Kiffin's player evaluations.

Kaleb Jackson really just sucks that bad
It’s crazy to me how he’s not a monster

No wonder why the team was shite last few years.

Also--
Aeron Burrell (kicker, UNC)
Burrell started as their main kicker, but was 0-3 from over 40 yards and was replaced.
He is their punter, averaging 42.8 with 8 kicks inside the 20. Not bad.
His kickoffs are touchbacks only 59% of the time. He was 68% at LSU

Maybe would have liked to see Adams, Mubenga or Echols at guard.
Echols has raw talent, but who know how fast he would have improved under better coaching.
Adams has cross-trained and would be an upgrade over Satterwhite today. Conversely. Sat was likely cheaper when we had a lot to replace and is younger and will likely be here 2 more years if he continues to develop.
Personally, I do wish we had kept Adams and maybe Ory Williams, who looked like a good extra backup T when thrown into the fire. But the OL is, even with its flaws, FAR better than the best we saw last season. Hell, we are running the ball better and more consistently than we did with a pretty talented OL in 24.

Pretty sure there was a story that he showed up to camp overweight so Belichick gave him an offensive lineman number

Is this true?

Adams would be a gpod option on the right side but Weston Davis is doing way better this year. Not sure how much of an improvement Tyree wouldve been over him.

Not sure. Looked it up and couldnt find if he played any snaps or not. Either way hes a backup and not really important.

I was thinking of Adams as a guard. He played both guard and tackle when he was our utility guy in 2024. He filled any spot where we had an injury other than center.
That said, he may not have been willing to stay to play that position. he found a starting gig at left tackle in the SEC, so probably not

Stats show he has played 6 games. Is that on FG team or something?

He’s still not able to play at an SEC level. Ole Miss had an injury at either C or G vs us and again last week. They shuffled starters around and brought in a different replacement in each case.
He’s probably playing special teams only. Maybe he plays some snaps and jumbo or goal line.

I definitely thought Manchild was gonna dominate at LSU

If Curne has no reps at Ole Miss, I think that says quite a bit.
Would have liked to see Kyle Parker and Jelani Watkins in this offense with their speed.
A couple of the OL would be good rotational fits or backups for us.
Breaux looks like he's having a good season for Kentucky and would be a good rotational fit on our defense.
Stamps..wouldn't be starting, but would add needed depth and experience to our CB room.
Other than that, we don't miss any of them.

I told my Ohio State buddy that Kyle Parker would be a bright spot.
Surprising but guess not.
