And in reference to the 15 TO in the UCF game only 5 in the 2nd half. It will take a little time to get used to playing with each other but the ball movement was good. And was without Zipper and Miller and Reed isn't 100% yet.

That optimism would maybe gain more traction if LSU hadn't averaged nearly 13 TOs per game in McMahon's 3 seasons...the last two of which was good enough for dead last in the SEC.

Thomas looks to be a solid PG. The problem is the offense is going to be totally reliant on him to create the entire offense. If/when defenses stop that option, McMahon's offensive structure has a whole has struggled to create looks...often because it is a disorganized mess of guys not being sure of where to move away from the ball.

Yea they remind me more of his best team here where you have some vets who are competent and can shoot the ball but that team had a couple of mismatches that helped us on offense. Miller might be someone but his 3/4 solid to good games were sporadic. Even after he showed some very good things we didn’t do anything structurally to capitalize and build off of it which has been a McMahon problem from the jump. Sutton maybe a real #2 guy but we’ll need one more and we’ll need Thomas to be very consistent as well.

LSU is currently projected to finish 15th in the SEC. The SEC currently has 16 teams.

LSU is the most best team to win the SEC according to BETMGM. Probably because of that 100+ to 1 odds.

Looking forward to the start of the last year of the McMahon error!
Looking forward to the start of the first year at NC State for Will Wade and the initiation of the process to get him back to LSU to correct the McHallman/McWoodward error.

Remember, new LSU President and ATHLETIC DIRECTOR Wade Rousse was at McNeese with Wade. (No coincidence that they're both a Wade)

LSU basketball is not like LSU football right now where we can go out and hire big name guys.

Are LSU fans really that ignorant of the fact that their basketball program is historically better than most SEC teams besides Arkansas, Florida, and Kentucky? Sure wasn’t stopping Auburn and Alabama from being recently dominant. Vanderbilt? Mississippi? Tennessee? They all have terrible basketball history and have now surpassed LSU.

shite, you were one of TWO teams in the SEC who missed the tournament.

Basketball is 3rd on my list behind baseball and football, but IMO these are the best LSU sports shirts

One thing to watch tonight is if LSU can slow down Freddy Hicks & Dior Johnson, who combined for 38 points against a solid SMU team. This season's team should be better offensively than last season, but will likely struggle defensively.

I hope the Tigers surprise everyone, but only if McMahon can keep that going. If he cannot at the very least be a mid-level SEC team and at least in the bubble conversation at the end of the year, he should be gone.

Personally, I think he needs to make the tournament or be gone, but trying to be objective after the abject disappointment of the last few years.

The line has dropped like 3.5 points. Maybe some news or was it just inflated to begin with?
