a punt, (TV timeout), return from commercial- line up hike the ball with under 10 on play clock, whistle- play is underview, (TV timeout)

I'm at the game sitting their for nearly 10 minutes and I've seen a punt.

Halftime is 20 minutes, LSU's team went into the locker twice(pre and post scuffle) before the clock started running.

bullshite.

Even Saints fans are becoming suspect. Not nearly to the level of LSU, but people do indeed leave.

have you ever started drinking at lets say 12 noon and drank for 6 straight hours and then just quit for 4 hours and tried to stay away? It's not as easy as it sounds.

Maybe in the past year or so, but the Dome stays pretty packed at least until the 4th quarter...even if they are losing by 30 and their record is 0-10, people will still show up for games and stay to just about the end.

More 2:30 kicks and reserve Saturday Night in Death Valley for rivals and true prime time matchups. Make the night games more rare and special.

I was a student at LSU from 05-10 and don't remember this being an issue.

Makes perfect sense. The "fans" leave at halftime 90 mins into the game. Just admit it- these people are not the fans of old that stayed and supported the team.

Last night it was the students and they cleared out at halftime. Can't blame that on the weather, the boring offense, game legth or anything else. It's time for them to lose seats. Move loyal upper deck fans down there.

Main reason is traffic.

No one wants to sit in the stadium for 3+ hours then sit in traffic for another 2+ hours just to get off campus.

I've been screaming this is in every thread like this. Find a way to significantly reduce the time it takes people to get off campus after games, and more people would stay longer.

And at the people blaming it on social media. Buncha senile old geezers. (and no I'm not a millennial)

Main reason is the traffic in Baton Rouge. They have to figure out a better way to get people out of town. Plain and simple

We might as well just start attaching a phone as an extra appendage these days. Technology is a blessing and a curse. Start living a real life and quit living through facebook, selfies and that other ridiculous "look at me" shite. It's turning young people into shite for brains.

you do realize that they have been playing football in Tiger Stadium for a long time and there has always been traffic?

There has never been a mas exodus of the stadium like there has been the past few years.

You cant blame it on traffic

The way they allow TV to dictate the pace of the game is ridiculous. It's the one thing I wish American sports would take more of a cue from soccer over.
