Saints home game

They sell beer and 40 point blow outs don't happen much in the NFL. It's typically ain't the saints doing that arse kicking either

Plus NFL games are 3:00 hours max

So you admit that traffic is not the issue?

Also, the score was 20-3 at halftime against Miss St and the stadium was empty by the end of the 3rd quarter when Miss St almost took the lead.

I am sure it is some for some people. Just exampling the difference between an NFL blow out and college one.

I typically stay near campus when I come in for games and just go to slickly's to wait out the uber serge or walk back.

We have a really shitty fanbase that can't be bothered to watch the team they claim to love for more than 2 hours. It was embarrassing last night. Saw some kid with a "Make LSU Great Again" hat on as he was leaving with 6 mins left in the third. Irony.

This. The Tiger Stadium that Bear Bryant described as "like playing inside a bass drum" is history, beginning to fade into myth. It may put in a brief appearance again should LSU have a team that beats everybody by at least 4 touchdowns, as it will become a socially "cool" thing to do to stay and cheer. Then again, maybe not even then.

Fans of other teams don't seem to have a problem. It is the spoiled LSU fans that seem to have it the worse..

How is This be dumb ? Why would anyone pay millions of dollars to broadcast the games if they cant make any money seeking ads? Ads would be limited to quarter breaks and halftime.

Are the games at other stadiums where the FANS stay until the end shorter than at Tiger stadium where the "self anointed fans" leave early but with excuses?

The numerous and lengthy tv timeouts are ridiculous. Another thing I notice is many season ticket holders no longer go to the games, they just give them to their relatives who go to see what it's all about, then leave early because they are bored with football. It used to be that season ticket holders were dedicated fans, mostly working people; many now are rich businessmen or professionals that own them as a status symbol as much as for a desire to see a great football game.

Didn't matter last night, but those timeouts kill the momentum of the games. I mean the players are just standing around waiting for minutes. I think only once last night there wasn't a TV timeout after a punt or kickoff.

I was at Lambeau and at Auburn , but last night was my first home game this year. (family illness made us miss the JSU and MSU games)

1. What is up with the student section? Very lacking in enthusiasm as compared to even last season. I sit right across from them and whole stadium feeds off of their cheering. But last night it was as if they all took valium in major doses before they came to TS.

2. The early leaving is getting worse not better. Significant numbers of people were leaving BEFORE halftime and the West Side half emptied out at halftime. Large portions of the student section emptied out at halftime as well.

3. The stadium appeared full in the 1stQ although I cannot see the East Upper and cannot judge the East lower properly. And, during the 3rdQ, the South and North EZ's were pretty full.

4. I thought the cell phone lights deal was cool. Even old geezers like my wife and I participated. (We're in our 60s).

Want to keep the stadium packed? Ban tailgating.

Most other schools don't have this so there is no incentive to leave early.

The stadium should offer free Red Bulls. That would keep the drunks going another few quarters.
