Herman IS their short list. They are going to send out feelers to gauge his interest. They're not going to fire Strong unless they know that Herman is a done deal....

The KSU defense is really, really good. Unfortunately, their offense isn't very good. I think they'll lose to OU, and the games vs. WVU, KSU, TTU, Baylor, and TCU are toss-ups. So let's say they win 3 of those 5... they'll be 7-5, and that's not good enough....

The truth is, this has nothing to do with Strong or UT's ethics or lack thereof. This is just LSU fans trying to hold on to a glimmer of hope that Herman might still come to LSU....

I agree 100%... I think the LSU fans are just doing everything they can to convince themselves (and others) that Texas releasing Strong would be a bad idea :lol:...

Sorry bro but it's his 3rd year with no sign of improvement. If Herman weren't around, then yeah, Strong might've been given a 4th year. But there's no way Texas is gonna just let LSU swoop in and steal him away. Not happening....
