we did everything right at the end(other than securing that last stop/rebound) after screwing up all game

made them hit a long jumper to beat us

it is what it is

we have plenty to work on for next year

need better BBIQ and some beasts in the post

Just gotta hope we return everyone. Kim played a lot of players this year so hopefully we don’t have portal issues.

Hopefully Shaq’s daughter and another big are on the way. Maybe he’ll give us additional NIL funds too

Me’arah O’Neal is good and I’d like to see her a Tiger. But she’s not an absolute beast and game changer. She’s more a four and not a five.

Kim needs to find another Britney Griner.

That, unfortunately, will always be a problem. Some kids aren’t happy unless they are guaranteed a starting spot and 35-40 minutes a game.

I can see Divine Bourrage transferring. But that will be because she realizes she’s never going to be a star at this level. I could see her following Redus to Rutgers.

Fingers crossed that Knox, Hines, and ZJohnson all return. I think they will but in these times, you have to recruit your entire roster over again every offseason.

I don’t disagree with that but give me a talk and athletic 4 all day. Maybe Koval makes another jump but you cant bank on that.

To be honest, social media clicks is how female college athletes get their NIL. I get what you’re saying, but this last line is actually encouraged if they want high dollars.

Why the hate for this LSU team? If you really believe all the crap in your post..."strutting around"????.....you obviously haven't seen them play this season. Every loss this season was to Top Ten ranked teams. I enjoyed this season & am looking forward to next year's team.. And btw, we split with Texas

Hate to see LSU lose, damn. Ash Jackson is my daughter best friend. AAU teammates that won 2021 adidas national championship together.

eh, i feel ya. i love my purple and gold but been watching ash since she got to duke. i was wondering what her senior year would look like without oluchi and vanessa and reagan. as much as this loss hurts, im glad she's having this moment and moving on.

ps. your daughter had a great career at tulane! sad to see kendall leave!

Our women’s basketball team struts around like they run NCAA basketball and got punked by Caitlin Clark in the rematch, lost to UCLA last year, get beat by South Carolina every time we play, finished 4th in the SEC this season, and just lost in the round of 16 to a team we beat by 16 points in the regular season.

This program is more worried about social media clicks than being elite.

What absolute nonsense. Typical Ranter, though.

The team is lazy, the team doesn't have enough swagger, the team has too much swagger, blah blah blah.

Not only WBB. Look at other sports.

Thankful for the natty a couple years back. Much like the Saints Super Bowl, that might be the only one I see in my lifetime.

Not an LSU fan in my lifetime LSU has won 3 Football championships, 8 CWS, 1 women’s Championship, and a Saints Super Bowl, combined with any other LSU championships.

The only other person I could think has enjoyed that much regional sports success would be a USC football fan that likes the Lakers, Dodgers, UCLA basketball, and claimed the Rams their first year.

Or a solely NBA, NFL, MLB fan in Boston.

Beating Southland and SWAC schools by 60?

Seriously we pay top dollar on our women’s team and get “pretty good” results. The money

Excuse me. Take a hard look at our baseball......and MBB (and our previous football) Someone is always pissed about the so-called absurd amount of money spent. At least WBB is and has been on the forefront, and on a national network at prime time. Lets see how far Wade gets in his first 5 years. A Natty, final four, elite 8, or 16 each year?

Everybody was saying about Texas “Dey gon’ find out how it is ta play in da SEC!”

When the truth is, if Texas has not dominated the SEC, they have come pretty close. I don’t think anyone can argue that they are not the best overall athletic program in the SEC.

Is no one going to talk about the clear travel on the last shot? Shooter changed her pivot foot after the shot fake. One play doesn’t lose a game, and Flaujae bit on a head fake, but that was a clear travel.

I knew this wasn't a championship caliber team but loosing in the sweet 16 is disappointing. Been an extremely tough year as fan of on the field or court in terms of results. I need something LSU to go well besides all the off the field theatrics.

You failed to include a gymnastics national championship, but your point is well made about the amount of championship sports programs LSU and Saints fans have experienced. There were also great seasons in baseball, football and gymnastics which fell just short of the titles.
