Is Chloe Larry a point guard?
tennessee tech only played one p4 school last year - usc (juju's team, not dawn's). here's a link to that game. i like watching a whole game so i can see mistakes and what little things a player is good at.
she's #21 in purple
(why would this be downvoted?? like really??)

This is for a guard off the bench who won’t really ever play
lets hope she never pops in on this thread!

We may be getting the girl from Russia . 6’5
looks like the 6'5" pitt girl (fatima diakhate) ended up at rutgers with redus. interesting...

I remember her when she played at Florida. I'm getting old
if it makes you feel better, i WATCHED her play in the pmac when sue was coaching!
wait, is that the russian flag?? well that should go over great with kate.

Yea, she’s a hooper fr.
for anyone wanting to watch more of noa morro: she plays in LF Endesa which is the highest women's basketball league in spain. she plays for club ARASKI.
if you go to youtube and search "KUTXABANK ARASKI vs" a lot of the games (full games, not highlights) she played in this past season are there for the viewing.

South Carolina must have the biggest payroll in the country
no. thats not it. dawn is not giving players a windfall. that's why you didnt see liv mcgill or audi or kyomi miller on their list of targets. if your first priority is money, then that's not the program for you. geno is most definitely the same way. i wanna say that i saw an article about how all the players get the same amount of money (from the school donor bucket of the nil), and whatever additional monies the players make, its from their own personal nil deals and endorsements with local (or national) companies.

I appreciate your research!
ditto. agree or disagree, gotta love a man who brings receipts to the table!
well this is interesting: saw on another site that audi crooks got $1.4 MILLION from oklahoma state for her commitment!! that makes her the 3rd highest paid women's basketball player IN THE WORLD!!
she's behind only a'ja wilson (3yrs/$5 mil) and aliyah boston (4yrs/$6mil) in terms of "salary."
welp, if audi doesnt get picked up by a wnba team (like reagan beers) then at least she cleaned house for her final college year.
on another note, ole miss's only remaining decent player from last year (sira theinou) entered the portal. i could be wrong, but the sec looks to have only 4 decent teams next year (kentucky, south carolina, lsu, vandy). seems like everyone else is in shambles.

the player from Pittsburg, Fatama
any news on the player from a&m, fatmata? she's seems an overall better get than the girl from pitt (fatima). though fatima is 6'5 and fatmata is 6'2, fatmata is much more aggressive around the basket, averages better in pts, rebs, assts, and steals, and already has a year of sec play under her belt.

Could Crooks be an option now that we have her pg?
as crazy as it sounds, ive been watching more iowa state games now that we've picked up jada williams: i wouldnt be mad if we got audi!
the girl is a MONSTER scorer! she's like a guaranteed bucket on the low post!! she can catch anything thrown at her!!! i think a lot of the reason why she doesnt play defense is because she doesnt want to get into foul trouble (?). she's imposing and hard to miss. if she just puts her hands on a player they flop and she gets stupid fouls called on her.
ugh! im so torn! how do you NOT find a way to make her fit SOME kinda scheme!? a lot of teams are passing on her for that reason. but watch, the team that ends up with her will be unstoppable next year! it may not matter anyway, because im sure she's asking for a huge bag and i dont think we have her kind of money leftover.
quote:
Only other big I can think of that they may be after is the girl from Pitt
yeah, woolfolk to vandy was a gut-punch. she really is a solid, aggressive big and just a junior.
i've been watching games with the pitt girl (diakhate). meh. i guess at this point, you take what you can get.
fatmata janneh from a&m would be a decent get. she was key to that end of the season win-streak they went on.
i assume gracie merkle is still available. she would need a lot of help over the summer, but she has a few things that koval lacks. plays a lot like reagan beers.
me'arah o'neal is looking more and more like a no-go. she likes to move around and shoot the 3 (pretty good at it -- was 44% against sec teams). dont think mulkey would prefer her 6'4" big doing that. she'd be a good fit at kentucky with kenny brooks. she's built/plays like their teonni key who was just drafted.

Flaujae has rap and endorsements to supplement her WNBA salary.
thanks to the new cba deal, as the #8 pick she'll be making about $310K for her rookie year! a big jump from the $75K the rookies made last year.

no, thats not happening.
clearly i have no idea what IM talking about!
and clearly she has no idea that she will not get much playing time there!

yes! they are a great franchise!! they did awesome for a 1st year team

Edwards goes to Carolina
no, thats not happening. when she committed to tennessee, dawn picked up kelsi andrews (6'3) and kaeli wynn (6'2) instead. so she may not end up behind those 2, but she would certainly be behind joyce, chloe, ashlyn, and the big french girl for playing time.
on a more curious note, kymora johnson (the hotshot point guard that everyone wants out of virginia) went on her visit to south carolina this weekend and looks like they didnt get an immediate commitment. which is kinda surprising since they are REALLY looking for a point guard to replace raven. i know we're not in the running, but it'd be interesting to see where else she goes to visit, and if she'll end up at carolina at all.

Anyway, it would seem there would be enough to work with to get two solid bigs.
i dunno. let's do some math, keeping in mind this is totally arbitrary:
jada $200k
bella $100k
divine $100k
amiya $100k
kg $200k
flaujae $0 (pretty sure mulkey said in a presser that flaujae makes her own money, she gets no lsu money)
gotta think mk and lay are making at least $1 million. maybe??
so that's $700k to play with. which 2 can we get for that? trygger was asking for $700k alone, so she's out! chime in. let's see what we can come up with!
