This also addresses the “lack of institutional control” allegation the SEC alleged in its lawsuit filed the day prior to this conversation with Sankey.
Three issues dead in one phone call made the day after the SEC filed suit.
1. Players kept off roster? Check
2. LSU won’t interfere? Check
3. Institutional control? Check
Gives a different vibe to the announcement of a postponement of today’s federal hearing.
Will wait for more information.

Wow, how bad does that make Stankey look, so knew on the 4th they forced LSU to deny those students. Then filed all that stuff because the coach made a smart, a$$ joke on Saturday. The put out in the ether that LSU was planning to interrupt the proceedings.

I'd like to see Rousse address their accusation that LSU and Kiffin specifically intentionally and deliberately recruited these players to leave the NFL tryout process (I'm not going to call them pro players) and come back to college.
