These issues were moot right from the beginning because none of the things the SEC was afraid was going to happen ever happened.

President Rousse seems to be a bit of a gangster. I know it's early and I can still be proven wrong, but seems a hell of a lot better than what we had previously

So Rousse told Sankey the day after the SEC filed suit it had complied on the players issue and told him LSU would not be interfering in a meeting ….

Interesting how the lawsuit, when amended, did not mention these facts - or maybe it did and I missed it.

This is the question I need answered. Why did the the presidents escalate the talks of expulsion AFTER we declared this? Did Sankey not tell them?

That leaves the slight worry that this isn't over yet.

to the dumb dumb that said rouse was out of his league...

that statement was perfect in showing the SEC was out of line escalating yesterday without being a total dick about it. Well done IMO

So he told the SEC Friday night we weren’t going to roster them & they still went through with this shite?

Countersue for everything and more. What a fricking smear campaign.

It's now been confirmed that LSU told the SEC last Friday they were not rostering the players,

I just don't get all every single fanbase doesn't see this for what it is.

LSU has said in public and now we know in private every single step of the way that they would follow SEC guidance on this one, and the SEC still moved to setup a vote to expel and filed a federal suit against LSU, all while knowing LSU wasn't even rostering the players.

What are we even doing here

Delly is a shite stirrer and only has interest in painting LSU in a negative way. LSU Sports and anyone associated with the LSU Athletic program should blacklist him.

This new era of LSU seems to just not give AF and they are willing to swing their weight around unlike admins of the past. It is a great feeling and truly feels like LSU is unstoppable

In a sane and logical world, this should effectively end the issue.

Let's just play football.

And eff the SEC.

This almost makes up for the woke period LSU recently went through with previous leadership.

I like it

I do not see this as any type of concession. Rouse just wants to get this response on record.

Also, de-escalation is not groveling or fear. It is often done by the wiser of two parties who recognize the stupidity of a precarious situation. A smart badass mofo does not walk into a bar looking for trouble.
