Kiffin is giving a well balanced speech. Gratitude and appreciation for his time at Ole Miss, clarity and understanding of the LSU expectations, the mission, his brief bio and how he got to where he is today. No arrogance. No false bravado. Humility. Expertise. Confidence. Goals.

He does seem a bit nervous but I would expect no less.

That was the speech.

I like it. I may soften on my feelings toward him.

Now for the Q & A.

Well, at least there is some hawt male eye candy to enjoy while waiting.

Meow.
Maybe maybe … Don’t care.

The optics are terrible.
Between the drama getting him here and now the disrespect of being 15 minutes (and counting) to his intro press conference, I am NOT a fan of Kiffin. He better be a darn good coach because I’m already with my torch and pitchfork.
Don’t worry. Soon Spanish is to be replaced by Arabic.
Late for his own intro presser…. Does he drag everything out?
Who doesn’t want Kiffin because they’re worried he will leave? I’ve not seen that on here. Maybe I missed it?
Yes, we knew Saban was going pro but the sense of betrayal and loss was still great.
I never had high expectations for Kelly so I didn’t feel any sense of loss with him.

I understand the Old Miss Melt

I understand the Ole Miss melt. I remember well the sense of betrayal I felt when Saban announced he was leaving LSU to go to the Dolphins not long after telling us he was going no where. Granted, it was during the playoffs but it still burned deep when it happened.

To this day I have a love/hate/respect for Saban. He’s truly one of the greatest football coaches in history and appears to be a very likable and admirable man, yet I still waver between awe, gratitude, and bite me.

That’s my empathetic post for the day.

Too lazy to google.

Has Lane Kiffin, as head coach, ever won a championship game of any report? Is this why he may want to stay throughout?
Lanes not doing anything. LSU is doing this. Maybe LSU should have set a deadline on the offer.

Don’t have to imagine. Saban did it.
Just a reminder the Kiffin’s toured Gainesville yesterday.
