re: Rob Reiner did NOT celebrate murder of Charlie Kirk

If this happens it will be very swift and decisive. Only one side has firearms. Just saying.
Obviously not. President Trump was shot. Charlie Kirk was shot.
It will be civil war and it will not be “left vs right”. It will be “the world v. the right” and everyone will be armed - some with arms much more powerful than a gun.

I’ve been calling the left many ugly names for decades and saying many ugly things about them for decades, as have most of you all on here. So by your logic we are all worthy of being murdered by the left?

He only said that because of the blowback. He’s a POS. Why are you white knighting for him? Virtue signal points?
You may be right. You may be wrong. Casting perceived intent as fact does not make it true, nor does it change what he did in fact do.
Your inability to tell the difference between choosing to be humane vs “white knighting” exposes your own shortcomings. You’re fine with your own inhumanity then so be it.
Like I said, I am resolving myself to the very real probability this ends one way and it’s horrific and this is one example of why. What if the name were Donald Trump or Joe the Ragman? Would you be okay with any of this because I am not. There is true evil in this world. It comes in many forms.
Evil begets evil. A man slitting an innocent girls throat while riding on a train is evil and worthy of death.
Someone on this thread implied Reiner molested his son that murdered him. He used the words, “IF it’s true”… “IF is a big word and IF is not a word to be used when referring to pedophilia or any other type of sexual assault when attempting to justify murder.

You are correct. Life has been much better for the past year because I have stepped away, but it’s still a struggle.

I do agree Reiner was mentally unstable and he truly had a case of TDS. He actually committed himself after Trump won. However, Reiner did not deserve this.
I do believe mental illness is possibly hereditary or passed on to children due to instability in the home.

Rob Reiner did NOT celebrate murder of Charlie Kirk

I’ve seen it said on here many times Reiner celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk. This is actually NOT true. He separated himself from the democrats and said the murder of Charlie was horrific and no one deserved what happened to Charlie. Reiner had limits and murder was one of them.

That being said, I do see the irony in people (not saying anyone specific on here) who celebrated Charlies murder and the murder of United Healthcare CEO - and celebrate the murderers (Robinson and Mangioni) now being upset about tasteless commentary about the horrific murders of the Reiners.
I am resigning myself to the very real probability the political division in our country ends in only one way. I have had to ask myself over this past decade just how much of my soul have I lost and how much more of my soul am I willing to lose. I struggle everyday to hold onto my humanity. The struggle continues as I try to hold onto as much as I possibly can for as long as I possibly can.
Reiner wished ill on Trump and all of MAGA - that includes me. However, I choose humanity. The Reiner’s did not deserve to die in such a horrific way and especially by the hand of their own son.

If it puts them in a supervisory position it obviously needs to be announced.
I think it’s great people in the workplace get good recognition especially in an environment where it’s lacking.
As another said, just be sure you aren’t inadvertently leading someone to believe the position is theirs.

Wait until he hears about high school NIL with some players making over $1M a year-and it’s not permitted in all states, thank goodness.

re: Is having kids worth it?

Define “worth”.
Are they expensive as hell? Absolutely.
Do they upend your single lifestyle? Without a doubt.
Do they break your heart at times? Oh yeah.
Once here, can you imagine life without them? No.
Do you finally understand “unconditional love”? Yes.
Would you make the choice to have them again? Yes.
However, if one is not capable of being emotionally open and available and just not capable of putting self last then do not have them. You will find no joy and will only bring them a lifetime of misery and pain. Children deserve more.

I love it. They’re required to provide information before the call comes through. I can watch the transcript live and decide if I want to answer. No information? No notice of a call.

No, everyone is not rich.
What you’re seeing is the middle and upper working class being priced into poverty… the destruction of the working middle class.
You will own nothing and you will like it.
It’s like AI and the education system. Math is racist. Many can’t even count change. Cursive writing is about to be extinct- therefore, those “ancient” texts (think founding documents) will be illegible. Critical thinking skills among the younger are almost extinct…. In walks AI to fill the void.
Scary as hell… “Idiocracy” predicted it all.

I’m definitely learning. Until a few years ago I was never into baseball. It was too slow for my taste. I did not appreciate the fact it’s a “thinking” game. I have an absolute respect and appreciation for the game now.
