Okay assuming you mean Baseball, Mens basketball, women's basketball, and football then you would be incorrect. Men's basketball ended without a championship and football did not win the Championship. So even if baseball wins the championship this year that is only 2.

The basketball and Football seasons are 2022-2023 seasons. Now starting with Football in the fall and seeing how baseball retains players after the draft from the recruiting class, current players, and transfer portal we could potentially have 2-3 Championships for the same season next year.

Have you looked up the odds for a parlay for LSU to win the natty in Wbb,baseball, and football? $100 could win you a boatload if it happens.

Anticipation for LSU WBB will be through the roof and sky high for football.

I’m glad professional hockey will be returning to BR, albeit the very low minor leagues. I hope to make some games, but that franchise is going to have a hard time making it competing for the entertainment dollar with LSU sports in general, especially football and WBB in the fall and winter, and baseball in the winter and spring.

The Kingfish couldn’t do it and they were a lot better brand of hockey. It’s just hard for any minor professional sports franchise to compete with LSU sports and that is really doubled down in 2023-24.

Can’t believe you neglected to list baseball as a major sport. You received a downvote from me.

Hey, you and me can enjoy watching college baseball. But it is not a "major sport" in terms of national attention like football and men's basketball. LSU is an outlier nationally with regard to amount of attention and emphasis placed on college baseball. At the majority of schools nationwide it is an after thought with very little attention paid to it.

LSU also wasn't quite the powerhouse that it is now.

Has there been another school to win 3 or 4 National Championships in major sports for the university in the same season?

There's no reason to realistically believe LSU is a national title favorite in football until we actually see them on the field this fall.

Spring optimism is fun, but c'mon...

We return the majority of the offense that won the SEC West. I believe we can win the entire SEC and compete to win a national title this season. There was no reason to believe the ladies could win the Natty back in November but they did in April

Depends on what you call major sports, but Stanford is probably your answer.

Women’s basketball isn’t a major sport so LSU has none with only baseball left. Kind of hard to get 3-4 don’t you think.

Someone on here said they made that bet before the wbb championship game.

C'mon now...

2022 was year 1 of the Kelly era, supposed to be a major rebuilding effort. We started sloppy as hell, developed to the point of beating a very good Bama team (just look at the draft for evidence of what they had) and won the West.
2023 sees LSU return largely intact, with most of last season's question marks now examples of our strengths. Meanwhile, the other 3 contenders for the SEC (UGA, Bama and Tennessee) had a lot of attrition in the draft. Even dropping the home fan aspect, you have to list LSU as a contender for the SEC; and realistically, if you win the SEC, you are the default national champion favorite.

I'm hoping Carr has a good season for the Saints.
