Wouldn’t have anything to do with arm talent if that happened. Clark has an absolute cannon. I, along with many here checked out the YouTube footage of him that’s readily available. He had a moon shot throw in a game where he threw it well over 70 yards on a rope. He doesn’t lack an arm.

Days ago I had been suggesting, after Sam's 3 interceptions and obvious "rusty" passing performances that Landon perhaps "start" to SEE his upside/downside potential.... knowing, days ago, that he could be pulled immediately IF he stumbled, got uncomfortable. And that perhaps he might play even better than Sam!?

Landon has not screwed up once, and has performed extremely well, both in passing (especially) and running. And he has looked VERY comfortable running the offense. My point in starting him was that we Know Sam has been rusty, and made serious errors/mistakes and that by allowing Landon to start might allow Sam to "settle down" and provide perhaps an "ego" check for Leavitt. I said this knowing/thinking that Sam was healthy and that after a series or 2, 3 Landon could be replaced with Sam who I believe/think offers us our best chance to win.

But we don't KNOW that, yet, without seeing Landon play with all our starters. We might start him and he might SMOKE EM right out of the gate!?! If he did/does....then leave him in. Why not?

But with Sam's possible injury, we might have to start Landon, and he may struggle, and we might not have the option of replacing him with Sam.

Leavitt's injury (?) is NOT good news! I never suggested, and did not/do not want or intend to "start, exclusively play & finish" with Clark! No, any Leavitt injury is horrible news. I never said that Landon was "better" than Sam, but wondered if he just "might" or perchance could be. And I wanted to find out, without much risk, knowing we had Sam as a backup.

I hope we have the choice of playing Sam and/or Landon, either exclusively or necessarily or in a combined manner. Either or in Any way - I think we will be fine.

Ole Miss by 3 TDs if he plays

Yeah, Lane Kiffin offered him a scholarship because he doesn't have the arm talent to win at this level. Moronic post. He also won the backup job early on here, so he must have something.

sam Leavitt has two multi interception games in his career . how does that make him a turnover machine. because his last game happened to have 3 interceptions? convenient time to crown him a turnover machine

I wouldn’t call a guy that had 6 ints in a season where he made a playoff run a turnover machine.

He had a few bad plays vs La tech, the second pick was on his WRs more so than him. It was a poor effort by Winnie to pick the guy and a weak effort by I believe Jackson Harris to fight and get the ball.

If Sam isn’t healthy, I think Landen will be prepared. If they are both healthy, then I trust Kevin to play the one who gives us the best chance to win.

There are literally highlights out there of him tossing the 60 yards in the air…. Arm talent is not an issue. Accuracy? Maybe, too small of a sample size to really know. Experience? Absolutely. It’s a tough order to come in and start your first SEC game in the Kiffin bowl. That place is going to be toxic.

Why can't the coaches see what you can? You should be the coach!

Ahh yes. Historically the best player on LSU’s roster - the backup QB
