This is the best news we could have gotten.

Leavitt is a reckless turnover machine and going on the road in that crazy hostile environment just exacerbates the issue.

Landen Clark is essentially Sam Leavitt without the recklessness and inaccurate passes.

Enjoy that victory.

LSU 26 Ole Miss 20

The sample size is way too small to make that claim. He has looked good for sure, but it’s one thing to play when the games decided and another to play when there are 60 minutes in front of you.

Yeah man! Everyone in football knows that the backup QB is always better. Just look at how he's played with 30+ point leads!

Clark’s Elon highlight film from last year is very impressive. Small college all American. Whoever is in is a tenfold improvement over last years QB play.

Clark doesn’t have the arm talent to win at this level

Ole Miss by 3 TDs if he plays

Do you people actually think the coaching staff doesn’t put the best player forward? This is a legacy game for Kiffin. If he starts Leavitt once he’s cleared, then that’s the right choice.

Shut the frick up with this shite man. The 2 teams we’ve played so far were trash and the games were over of course he looked good. All you retards thought Van Buren was the answer last year and I watched him put up 13 points in 4 quarters against western frickin Kentucky. Leavitt has played in the playoffs, he’s been in big games we need him more than this retarded board thinks

Yeah I’m sure Kiffin and Weiss have been keeping the QB that gives LSU the best chance at winning 2nd on the depth chart.

You must have been present during all practices late this summer, right?

I don’t think any of you people understand just how fricking stupid you make yourselves look by posting this shite. Unbelievable

Leavitt has 2 multi turnover games in his career.

I disagree 100%. Though I do believe that Leavitt is the best option, especially due to experience, Clark wouldn't be in the backup spot over former 5* Longstreet unless Kiffin sees something in him. I don't see how you can write someone off so quickly. I doubted Chambliss for similar reasons, and look what happened!

The best news for lsu is to lose the #2 passing yards and #2 rushing yards qb in the sec? You’re retarded
