I didn't even know who this kid was until last week..
flipping before a life changing commitment towards earning your education and playing for school you love is different than making a commitment to coaches, a university and teammates, enrolling, going through a season and then saying " after further review, I want out because I believe I should be starting at LT"

Frustrating. He had some improving to do as a pass blocker but his run blocking already graded out pretty strong which an area that needs to improve next year.

Hurts to lose him, know him from Neville- transferred from Strop City(Bastrop) different kind of dudes from The Strop. It hurts, good thing the cupboard isn’t bare strongest part of CBK regime so far is OL. Too bad he & posse don’t look past the numbers on the check and hardwork it takes. He’ll be a first round pick but damn son earn it now. Tampering probably going on with some SEC schools. Now he’s going to get the 2 things that makes this NIL & portal sht so frustrating 1) promises of starting OT 2) bunch of cash(family also)
Can’t blame this on CBK though most will, you can’t just move an All American OT to the other side and tell the other former Freshman All American OT to slide inside so this guy can get what he thinks he deserves. The sad part is All three will be drafted high and probably have lucrative NFL careers. It’s a shame but that’s what happens with today’s situation and today’s teenagers They ALL want what’s “Minezz”
We will be OK but what can CBK do in this case, it’s happening all over the country not just LSU. I would say we’re headed to prisoners running the asylum but I won’t, that wouldn’t be PC. Ole Miss or Bama getting a good one or whoever puts up the $$$$$!

If Lance Heard did not earn a starting job by the end of this season then he's not what we thought he was. He looks like a good talent, and a future NFL guy, but he's not the dominant player we thought he was. And CBK is stacking offensive linemen like Heard, so while I wish he was staying, I don't think it's a big blow.

Heard is everything that is wrong with this country. Entitled 330lb baby! He could play on the right next year and move to the left when Campbell is a top 10 pick,but no he can’t come to grips that he isn’t better than Campbell so he is leaving. Good riddance!
