Yup, but they don't want to hear that. With the school's financials in the crappier, they're probably looking at a few years out.
This is 100% false. If O doesn't get it straight it won't be a "few years"

Mega-false.
Not at all.

He would have to sue them and prove it was without cause.

Now these super star NIL players parents want to dictate to the football program how it is to go down or else. It was very evident that UCLA had a bunch of hungry 3 star star recruits that just wanted to play the damn game - guarantee there is not this much drama around their program.
Elcid, are you kidding? UCLA was GROUND ZERO for the NIL movement. Remember the Ed O'Bannon case? Katelyn Otashi? They've been at the forefront of athletes getting paid for a dozen or more years.
LSU's spoiled athletes aren't going to dictate Orgeron's demise. Ed himself will.
He has not been a good caretaker of the program. He's been only mildly competent as a CEO, as it turns out. A great recruiter, perhaps. But he's shown no ability to assemble and maintain the kind of blue-collar staff that can develop the 4- and 5-star talent and mold them into a great football team.
I was fooled by 2019, like most of us were. The similarities to 2016 are striking.
While I can't imagine they would fire Ed after the fourth game, like they did Les Miles, I wouldn't rule out anything, because football is the cash cow.

Not to mention the most important recruit since LF7 that could make/break us this decade as a program if it turns South.

Aside form wanting to fight a booster, what are some of the off field antics I keep reading about? I like to watch the team, but I am not very dialed in to the inside scoop.

Covering up for multiple football players alleged to have raped and/or sexually assaulted multiple female student athletes by knowing about it and not reporting it.
Potentially being involved in a scheme to pay players via money laundered and skimmed from the OLOL Children's Hospital.
Ignoring coaching duties to chase tail after AND prior to his divorce.
Dozens of reports of generally boarish behavior that has hacked off hs coaches and boosters.

As an uniformed outsider it’s my opinion that Eddy O is in the throes of TRT in order handle all them ladies.

Listening to Stingley's dad is a good indication the thought of the entire program. They're so damn worried about the fans and perception of the program, when they're the reason it is what it is.
It’s typical of today’s climate. No one wants to take responsibility for their own actions and mean words bring world class athletes to their knees.

So I was rewatching the game and um... presented without comment.

So he adeptly transferred a booger from right hand to left hand and ate it?
Kidding aside, look at some of those sideline huddles in the second half. Pure chaos and O just standing around like a retard or clapping like a seal. No coaching from him at all

Guy is down at fishing camp with a group and group see Ed O and his sons. Someone says off the cuff “he better win every game this year.” 10 minutes later, Ed O shows up at their camp asking “Someone got something to say to me?” presumably looking for a fight. Someone recorded this interaction and sent it into the LSU administration.
That sounds exactly like something Ed would do.
And, at the same times seems like bullshite. If there was a video it would have surfaced by now. shite like this doesn’t remain a secret these days.

Take the “insider” scoop lightly. Most of these “insiders” on here don’t know shite.

If it was a booster who didn't want to hurt the program, and they sent it directly to the admin it absolutely could be kept under wraps. Until they decide it needs to be released of course.

I got so tired of reading this "debate" that I had to make an account to respond. Maybe in a fantasy world where things go exactly as the contract dictates you'd be right, but we live in the real world. In the real world Orgeron was named personally in the Guice shite show and has gotten run out of town at every job but LSU. LSU 100% has enough dirt on him to make Orgeron join the likes of Shelton Felton and Hugh Freeze in being blacklisted from reputable college jobs and NFL jobs. Woodward will then give him a very simple decision. He can either accept whatever number Woodward says (I'm guessing somewhere in the 25-40% range so that good coaches are still willing to work at LSU), or he can be fired for cause, LSU will take it to court, all the dirt on him will magically come to light during discovery and happen to get leaked to the media, and Orgeron will never coach above the high school level ever again even if LSU loses the lawsuit. It's technically up to him, but it's not really much of a decision.
And even in the only what is in the contract matters world, he'd probably still only get halfish. Anything that's long term and includes a fat check has a bunch of clauses that make it effectively impossible to adhere to specifically so you aren't actually stuck with them for 6 years.

Can't get into the playoff consistently without super star athletes. So it seems we're in a bit of a pickle.
