Not sure how the defense will play, but I will be shocked if LSU doesn’t score 56 plus. The State D has holes everywhere. You can book it that Joe will have the offense motivated to run it up after the dismal offensive performance last year. If their QB is healthy the entire game. He may extend a drive or two with his feet. I think we will use he Itak State game plan —-stop the run, stop the QB run and force him to pass. 62—13.

Uh, you might want to go back and check your info, dude, not sure Mullen was coaching anywhere in the 80's.

shite is so stupid. It’s like every slapdick media guy throws this shite out every other game in hopes of being able to say they were the one to “call it.”

The Moo State beat writer was on SECN yesterday & he said fan apathy is rampant & he does not expect that many to show up, especially with questionable weather. Not worried about a trap game with JB leading this team. Several players confirmed that he wanted to practice Sunday. This is the kind of a game where leaders make a difference.

Are y’all talking about the same LSU team that just hung 42 on a top 2 defense in the SEC? The same LSU who could have put up 60 last weekend had Florida not killed 2/3 of the game clock on their drives? We will beat MSU by over 40 without a doubt.

Here's the thing...

Troy happened.

I doubt we ever see Orgeron his team show up unprepared again.

If LSU could hang 42 on Florida, and make it look easy, I wouldn't be too concerned about this game.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a similar defensive philosophy as the UF game.

Let their freshman qb dink and dunk all he wants for 4 or 5 yards, and let them spend 7 minutes driving down the field.

LSU will just overpower them offensively. 45-24.

Normally, I would worry about the better team's offensive performance in a game like this (see UGA-USC). But I think LSU's offense has a chip on their shoulder that will stay there the entire season, no matter who they're playing.

Exactly. If you cry wolf enough times, you eventually might be right.

I heard the team is constantly being reminded of the 37-7 loss the last trip to Starkville. Hopefully, that will keep them motivated.

It's going to be someone having us on upset alert every week for the rest of the year. It really means nothing.

If he puts us on Upset Alert every week and it finally happens, he looks like a genius.

There will be no "overlooking teams" while Burrow is in charge. Period.

May be valid. State’s freshman QB will be a handful and State will be trying to save it’s season.

no.

if this was a miles offense, i would say 'plausible' but its not. burrow is going to gut the moo cows.
