Not sure what fans you are referring to. I haven't noticed any fans on TD taking this game lightly. And I don't see O and staff and players taking this game lightly. The Troy game is still in the back of the minds of coaches and fans alike, some players as well. Besides that everyone should realize and understand that Miss St. is an SEC team and they do have talented football players. Some of which were recruited by the likes of LSU and bama, so they are not a team loaded with scrubs, they have some very good and talented football players. All it takes for a team lie that to beat you is overconfidence or taking them lightly. If this happens then we will know O is not a NC caliber HC. National Championship coaches make certain their team is ready to play regardless who the opponent is.

For them to hold us to 31 our turnover margin would need to be around -7. I don't see it. Talent gap is wide and now we execute at the highest level in the country.

Y'all handled most of Mullen's State teams, and this team would lose to every Mullen team by 28+. This will be a massacre. We hired the wrong Joe from Penn State. You guys got the one that is not in over his head. Our Joe is.

Seriously though, only way LSU loses is if Miss st gets the ball first and goes on a drive that ends 10 seconds before halftime after a field goal. Then LSU scores a TD after half, Miss st. gets the ball and the drive ends with a TD with 2 seconds left in the game. Outside of that the ONLY way they win is if LSU's defense just doesn't show up. And even then they must outscore LSU's offense and this will not be easy. Just hard to see it happening. That being said, Miss St is an SEC school and they do have good football players that were recruited by the likes of LSU and Fla and etc. Cannot take this team lightly. Regardless the records state is going to come out hungry and mad, an injured dog is more dangerous than a well one.
