Leave Lachenmayer in to start the 7th
Leave him in for as long as he could go.
We can still win but I'm just bamboozled by Jay's pitching decisions.

Schmidt was at 90 pitches and had just walked the lead off guy. Lach came in and shut down the inning

Gonna go ahead and bookmark this gem.
Jay was just lucky twice. Oh yeah and that time he took Arizona to the championship series too.

We need to play at triple play depth.

Who recruited them and coached them.
You make a bet and sometimes they go wrong. Welcome to real life.
Judging 18-21 years olds, pitching no less, is hard stuff. You might not like that but that is reality. Sometimes you are wrong. Sometime the kids can’t arise to the moment. Sometimes they make mistakes. That is baseball.

When Jay steps on the field and walks two batters in crucial situations or strikes out or pops up weakly with RISP, then you should blame him Until then, the paid players are the cause. And this comes from a former player and a Dad whose son played 4 years of college ball. Only so much a coach can do. And what is different from last year or 2023 when we were the best in NCAA and now? You think Jay forgot how to coach from one year to the next? Real bad take

Wonder why he hasn’t “got an MLB job offer”

Did Jay get up there and walk a bunch of batters?
No but he put them on this team so he's accountable

Yeah, he was talking big and bad about not getting enough money.
Well, maybe we if had enough coaching, we wouldn't choke away a game that we were leading 7 - 2 in the 7th.
