You clearly don't remember Kade in 2024.

His words were not “because no one has contacted him”. He said not at this time. And he qualified it with at this time. And clarified that he hadn’t been contacted.

OK, my words weren't exactly right. Still, he really thinks he's good enough to coach in MLB, yet can't hold a lead of 7 - 2 in the 7th.

Are you under the impression that no MLB team has even blown a 5+ run lead in the 7th or later?

Better teams win most of the time.

Give him a good team and they’ll probably do well.
Give him a bad team and they probably won’t
Vitello is 2nd to last in his division. Giants aren’t very good and won’t be any time soon.

Of course, then they were probably fired at the end of the season.
This guy gave up a 4 run lead last night and 5 run lead tonight, while going full blast in a SEC losing streak of 8 - (will be 9 after tomorrow because we have no one to pitch).

Your comprehension is lacking.
No one ever said this.
Ever wonder why a guy that has single digit walks his senior year of highschool all of a sudden couldn't throw it over the plate. Did the purple jersey confuse him? Did the strike zone get smaller? Or did his coaching change?
He both were starters their 1st day on campus. Holman started at Bama too.
Jump developed into a serviceable starter.
Alot of guys play different positions in college compared to where they thought they would. How much better is Evans now than last year?

Anthony Eyanson got significatnly better at LSU, but because he transferred in, he doesn't count.
Same with Luke Holman.

Gage Jump had 16 IP in his college career before getting to LSU.

Casan Evans wanted to play shortstop - instead he saved LSU's season on the mound.

Oh, I’m not under the impression he did well this year. The results are objective.
Posted on 4/25/26 at 10:41 pm to SammyTiger
Are you saying Jump was an all-star? His year started shakey. He gave up 7.2 hits and 2.4 walks per nine. ~3.5 wra. That's a solid weekend starter, but most top tier SEC teams have one of those.

Lmao ok whatever you say buddy, did you not watch the press conference last week? Jay Johnson said he fricked up the season by whiffing on the portal, he made tons of awful decisions then and tonight

Very dumb takes - who do you want better than Jay. We will be back. Been a long time since we struggled this badly but it’s also been a long time since we had two nattys in short order. We have some good young talent that is going to be stellar over the next couple of years.

So you just down voted, but still didn't enlightened me.

WOODY FUNDED BASEBALL- this is the problem
Posted on 4/25/26 at 10:45 pm to Houtexlandscape
Woody set the funding for this season. Verge wasn't in seat when this roster was set.

I’ve liked what I’ve seen lately. But yes agreed hopefully he comes around. Coming off Tommy John’s isn’t always the smoothest transition. Our fans were slobbering over MS States relief pitcher Bauer and he came in with a 6.40 ERA.

Every decision has been wrong. How can someone be so wrong all the damn time.
OR Maybe just maybe his players can’t execute consistently and there’s zero he can do about it like his BEST frickING RELIEVER YESTERDAY IN SHEERIN DOES WHAT HE DOES. WHAT OH MASTER OF BASEBALL STRATEGY WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?
Some of you people are just ignorant about this sport.
I firmly believe most of you never player past little league or were brainwashed thinking “travel ball” was something more than what it is for most of you - your parents wasting money believing you were more than what you are.

I don't disagree. I just haven't seen enough guys develop under Yeskie in the last three years to put a lot of faith in it.
