We see his work every game. He’s coached in the CWS finals 3 times, winning 2 of them and every time he makes a call that doesn’t work out, fans get to second guess him and say he’s overrated or he needs “elite talent” to win.
Meanwhile, these second guessing fans get to play hindsight masters and tell you the coach made all the wrong moves, but won’t dare take a stand on what the correct call in a situation was, even though they stand nothing to lose but their reputation on an anonymous sports message board
