Arkansas LITTLE ROCK you fricking morons

You said we played UALR in the Super Regional up front, which is why I called you what you are- a casual. They played in the regional and we pounded them down the stretch in Game 2.

Then you said Arkansas, not UALR, who we also played twice in the postseason. Pay attention to what you post if you want to be take seriously here.

Yep watching atm. Runners on the corner ...some good fight in this game.

That kid had wheels to score from 1st. Whats even better in the hit and run, the big freshman hitting ball over the vacated ss the other way was money.

CJJ is a good coach but Skip he is NOT! He needs to have a much more talented team than the other guys. LSU’s history helps him with that. Relying on analytics waaay too much? For college baseball? That’s just my HO. He has a lot of in-game head scratchers. I just saw one in this current game. He doesn’t have Skip’s in-game instincts, and it’s not even close.

JJ’s SEC record is not very impressive and leaves a lot to be desired.

Here is every team’s SEC record over Jay’s tenure at LSU, going into this weekend:
Texas - 0.702*
Arkansas - 0.630
Tennessee - 0.630
Texas A&M - 0.547
LSU - 0.540
Georgia - 0.536
Vanderbilt - 0.536
Florida - 0.529
Kentucky - 0.518
Oklahoma - 0.500*
Auburn - 0.496
Alabama - 0.482
Mississippi State - 0.435
Ole Miss - 0.413
South Carolina - 0.387
Missouri - 0.254
*1.5 year sample size for Texas and Oklahoma.

Over that same period, CWS titles / CWS appearances:
LSU - 2 / 2
Tennessee - 1 / 2
Ole Miss - 1 / 1
Arkansas - 0 / 2
Florida - 0 / 2
Texas A&M - 0 / 2
Auburn - 0 / 1
Kentucky - 0 / 1
Oklahoma - 0 / 1*
Texas - 0 / 1*
*As members of the Big 12.

ETA:

But let’s not act like a little luck came our way getting Coastal Carolina in one of the finals.

OK, let’s look at everyone else’s “luck” last year. Here’s how every SEC team’s postseason ended:

LSU - CWS champ
Arkansas - Lost to LSU x2 (CWS)
Auburn - Lost to Coastal Carolina x2 (super regional)
Tennessee - Lost to Arkansas x2 (super regional)
Alabama - Lost to Miami and Southern Miss (regional)
Florida - Lost to ECU x2 (regional)
Georgia - Lost to Duke and Oklahoma State (regional)
Kentucky - Lost to West Virginia x2 (regional)
Mississippi State - Lost to Florida State x2 (regional)
Oklahoma - Lost to UNC x2 (regional)
Ole Miss - Lost to Murray State x2 (regional)
Texas - Lost to UTSA x2 (regional)
Vanderbilt - Lost to Louisville and Wright State (regional)
Missouri - N/A
South Carolina - N/A
Texas A&M - N/A

So we beat the only other SEC team to make the CWS, and the only other SEC teams to make it out of a regional lost to.. teams we beat in the CWS. I don’t think it was luck at all.

He's a fraud

Coach Tony Vitello ( GOAT ) had a 70% SEC winning record. Unbelievable!

That’s not that crazy. Going 16-14 (53%) in SEC play is generally a good season

I don’t care if they lose every SEC game. Winning National Championship is what counts

the rant can’t make up its mind. Paul was consistent but shite the bed constantly in June meanwhile Jay wins titles when he has a squad only problem is it takes him every other year to build an elite team.

I’ve posted about pitching and defense being the key to winning titles many many times on here. Lester will come tell you all kinds of numbers and act like he is smarter than everyone else. Those facts have been around since the beginning. Can’t win with out them.
As great of a line-up 2015 was look at what cost them - errors.
Arkansas dropped a pop up and lost to Oregon state the next pitch. Then last year their golden spikes SS made a poor decision to throw a runner out at third instead of turning a double play. Which led to one more chance and we know the rest of the story. Making mental errors are just as bad or worse than physical.
