would take Tebow over O 100%. Would be 10x the ambassador for LSU than Ed friggin Orgeron. Not even close

That feeling belongs to 1/9/12

The basic fricking premise of this thread asks the question

He also finished better than last year 9 times out of 11 full seasons.

No, I expected 9-10 wins his last few years as coach and held out hope I would be wrong and they would somehow win the championship. Told friends and family he would never win another championship after the debacle in championship game and unfortunately he didn't prove me wrong.

He would’ve had a hell of a shot at it with the state of the depressed SEC last year.

So you think we win the championship this year?

Otherwise you’re no better off

Not everyone bro. Just seems that way on here sometimes.

I don't love the fact that Ed Ogeron is our coach, but there's lots of other outstanding coaches on staff.

I am glad my alma mater didn't pay 75 million dollars to some coach who may/may not do any better than Ed. Hopefully not even close.

To answer your question: yeah, the early Les I'd be super excited to have all these great players and coaches going into a season where they will be in the limelight. The late-era Les, probably even less than our current situation.

Geaux Tigers!

Nope, but I was answering his question. Have about the same expectation for this year and I wasn't high on the O hire but also thought it was time for miles to go.

You’re an O lover

Sorry I like a coach who actually has won 10 games in a season and actually won a NC

You don't remember the last 2-3 years of Les?

They were no worse than the past 21 games under o. And with Les still running the show, we might have beaten a few of those teams that o lost to.

So in my opinion, the 2016-17 seasons were no better than Miles last 2-3 years. Made no sense to fire him for what we settled on.

Just like the o lovers. At least the "Les lovers" have something to hang their hat on.

No, LSU would still not have an offense.

and always........21-0

Man, I agree with this and was ready for Les to go just as much as anyone but to replace with O is just retarded.

The “search” was a huge waste. LSU had a 3 month headstart establishing back channels and to properly vet a coach and shite the bed.

21-0 was miserable but LSU will never sniff a national championship as long as O is the coach. I’m not being a hater but it is what is.

Do you think O is a national championship coach? I certainly don’t.

If it works out and he wins big then I’ll gladly admit that I was wrong. I hope for the programs sake he is successful.

Don't apologize for being rational and thinking for yourself.
