Been on the board for a while and I've never seen this board care so much about a transfer they claim was never good enough to play here in the first place. Why so concerned?

Was it in his own best interest? I don't think you mentioned it.

And no way in hell he is better than Walker Howard. Finley wasn’t going to see the field at LSU now or in the future.

He's going to sit the bench at Auburn just like he was going to at LSU.

Irrational decision.

Burrow wasn't "good enough" to play at Ohio State.

This offense may have been too sophisticated for his coaching preparedness. Brennan has been here forever. The other two are coaches sons.
We didn't need him and he did us a favor by leaving. More reps for the remaining QBs and less chance of division on the team, IMO.

Some of you act like yall weren't trying to say he should start over brennan after his game against south Carolina and arkansas.
He played great in those games as a Freshman.
Why would you think that he cant get better and develop.

With those games as a floor ,his ceiling is a good qb and a good qb with his measurables has a chance to develop into an sec starter and potentially a shot in the nfl.

Obviously hes not their yet but we dont know what he will become

I agree with your post , but there is no way in hell TJ has the talent or the abilities to beat Lsu. He was marginal at best in high school. He was as inaccurate with the football then as he is in college. Who cares if he has a cannon for an arm if he can’t make good decisions with ball and can’t put touch on the ball.
I was shocked when LSU offered him , but I wasn’t shocked to see the pouty behavior and the “victim” comments from his mom through this process. They have an overinflated value of how good TJ actually is, and his ego is a direct result of his parents . I don’t wish ill will on him either , but I’m glad he’s gone. I just wish he would have gone to Bama and somehow managed playing time when LSU played them.

Well if he is good enough to help Auburn beat Bama, then he is good enough to help Auburn best LSU, why in the f*ck would any LSU fan want Auburn to beat Bama if that means they can beat LSU???

Just like what didn’t happen in 2013, 2017, and 2019.

Since Saban got to Alabama, Auburn is 1-4 against LSU in years they beat Alabama in the iron bowl.

True.

Here's hoping his teams beat every other SEC team except LSU.

I like TJ. IMHO, -he's a good dude who works hard. I wish him all the success in the world unless it hurts LSU in some fashion as you say. Besides that though, I hope he makes it to the league and lives his dreams.

Judging by how well he threw to Auburn players last year, he should be amazing on the plains.

If he isn’t on the team then I don’t support him at all. I don’t see him ever starting in the SEC successfully. He is another example of a kid with a big arm but he isn’t an elite QB.

And taking pot shots at LSU like he has with his comments hinting to some kind of discord led him to leave and playing against LSU was a big factor in determining destination.

I wasn’t aware of that. That certainly changes the feels.

I agree with you Pimp. I think he has talents that will mesh with Harsin’s style. Also, given Bo’s problem with accuracy , he has a legit chance of starting at Auburn as they move away from Gus’s high school offense. I don’t think his lack of mobility meshed with our style or O Line. (It’s also why I think Max is better suited than Myles). Good luck to the kid. I hope we pressure him every down when we play Auburn. If we give him time, he will do damage.
