that's dumb.

I support most of the LSU players that transferred. No reason not to, unless of course they go to an opponent and help beat us.

I suppose that applies to Finley, but I don't see him getting much playing time this year. Or any year at Auburn, to be honest.

Really surprised he went to another SEC school and risk riding the bench. Far better to go to a smaller school and play immediately.

I watched TJ's body language and attitude on the sidelines last year and it didn't take long to see he was not a team player and felt like he was owed something.

Good luck at Auburn but I hope we kick your arse for the next 4 years.

You will never get a reply because he never said anything negative. There’s a different reason they don’t like him

Dude. Have you seen TJ play?

I’d LOVE for him to start at Auburn. They wouldn’t have a chance. The dude is a statue with a good arm, no accuracy, no awareness, no ability to read a defense... nothing.

I guess so. I saw the Twitter video. Nothing there. I saw the interview with Jacques Doucet. Nothing there.

Can't find anything anywhere indicating he said anything negative.

So, what's the other reason they don't like him?

I hope he sets SEC single game records vs. bama and throws 5 picks vs. us.

Some of you act like yall weren't trying to say he should start over brennan after his game against south Carolina and arkansas. He played great in those games as a Freshman.

No, the announcers were saying that and we were all laughing. He did have an exceptional game against USCe, but was mediocre against Arky and bad in the other 3.

Can’t really blame him for imploding at Auburn and vs. Bama, but I really think Max would have given us a shot at Aggy.

I don’t think he went there solely to get back At lsu

-It’s an sec west program

-His competition is Bo Nix. Not like he’s going there trying to unseat Cam

- going to a top cfb program relatively close to home

- has a good relationship with their staff

- you will 100% root for him in the iron bowl

The chance to exact revenge on LSU is just an added perk

Substitute Max for TJ and you'd be fawning all over the move.

Yep and the negative posters would instead be blaming Orgeron for running him off.

I don't think he has any cause to talk bad about LSU. He was given his chance. He didn't play well at Auburn and that was part of his downfall. Does he think if Johnson had played badly that he wouldn't have been benched as well?

TJ could have easily stuck it out and tried to compete with Nussmeyer and Howard. Who knows he may have gotten better by then. His choice, but don't blame LSU or talk bad about LSU because you failed to beat out another freshman QB.

TJ Finley did what was in his own best interests and no one can fault him for that. Not one person on the rant is going to pay his bills when he gets out of college so he is allowed to do what is best for him. His decision was strictly done in his “own” best interests and no one can fault him for that, I certainly don’t in anyway! I always say, do what you think is in your own best interests and without a doubt he did that and he has every right to do that.

What’s your point?

I think they won every Iron Bowl when Auburn had a team that was 8 wins or more.

The 2014 team had 8 wins entering the Iron Bowl and the 2016 team finished the season with 8 wins. They lost to Bama both years.

I downvoted the OP based simply on the fundamental principle of supply and demand. The guy can go wherever he wants to and do whatever he wants to. All the 20/20 hindsight fortunetellers can blame LSU for recruiting him in the first place.

Bullsh*t, his mother said shite when he got benched don't even think TJ didn't know what is mother was going to post cause that would be bullish*t also. He also gave that cryptic "what ever happened behind closed doors, I would like to keep that to myself" insinuating that there were issues he doesn't want to discuss. And then playing against LSU was a deciding factor.

Quit being a f*cking apologist, he through shade on LSU so F*CK HIM
