Year one to year two typical shows the most growth at QB.

As such, I hope that plays out if Nuss returns.

Sweet mother Russia! You think we have another year of this shite? I figured Nuss would try to go pro or start a podcast or something. Please tell me he isn't coming back.

This board wanted to bench a Daniels and start Nuss after the loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship game.

I'm with you! CBK needs to get these next two wins and have that propel this program into the signing period, roster retention, and impact gains via the portal. We need to make some significant improvements along the OL and secondary. I think we'll be ok with returner/FR inbounds at the skilled positions & DL/LB. Add a punter and LS to the Christmas list too.

I remember those pre-Saban years, some of the late CLM & CEO years, and I'm not ready to go back. Keep Charging!

BK will be in a world of shite this time next year with LSU fans demanding his head on a platter.

You really think BK gives a shite about this. He will take his money and go live his life. Hell, he probably wishes LSU would fire him at this point.

No need for name calling. You hang out at the Cleary Tavern? I think I’ve seen you there before smoking your Marlboro Reds and drinking Natural Lights.

People thought it was delusional to think JD would be great but after the 1st year he turned it around. I think Nuss can do the same

Other than the fact that Nuss can’t run, it is less about him than bad receivers, bad defense and completely atrocious running game.

Agree with this but if we don’t get some immediate difference makers in the portal then next year will be worse!

I agree, but it's hard to be optimistic about Kelly right now.

FWIW, I separate Kelly from LSU. Kelly is the problem here right now, not the program itself. We can be strong again without him when the time comes.

Talent is innate and cannot be learned. Skills can. Fact is that Nuss is a good guy but does not possess the innate ability to run. Daniel's mind/feet reaction time was extraordinary, allowing him to sidestep and zip through holes that few can.

Albeit Nuss may choose to develop his running skills, realizing that if he wants to compete in today's high end QB scenario, he'll have to learn to take that ten yards any time it is there. I don't think he likes the contact and pain, which comes with the running. Burrow's competitive instincts often overrode common sense, but he learned pretty quick not to challenge LBs.

Kelly won ten games in his first and second season.

It makes no sense to pay $60 million when the only return is a coaching search and then three more years to a new coach.

Kelly's recruiting has been exceptional.

It makes far more sense to give Kelly the time and support he needs.
