My daughter has a couples shower for her wedding that afternoon. She didn't plan it. I need to know if I need to RSVP with a no.

RSVP now with a NO and then adjust later if needed, with another NO

Probably night unless both teams fall off the rails.

The three games currently in the flex window are:

Mizz/UGA
Tenner/A&m
Texas/LSU

You gotta make a decision in life, man. Your daughter or this football team. I know what I'd choose....

As a girl dad I certainly hope you choose the one where you attend her wedding shower.

Passed up the 2003 SECCG vs Georgia and sold my tickets to see my girl in "The Nutcracker" after their schedules changed.

You'll survive.

Are we all forgetting that if you miss the wedding event for the game you'll hear complaining about it for the rest of your life, from multiple people. This is something that will 100% be used against you in future arguments

That depends on if you are still married to her mother and if so, if you'd like to remain married to her.

Go to the shower but charge your phone up before you go and bring a battery pack. The ability to stream games now is amazing but it will kill your battery before the game is over.

I can't think of anything that would rank above my daughter, I don't care what it is. Game will be on TV.

Showers are for women. That's a hard no bruh. Had a family member with a couples shower right before the McNeese game...my wife knew that was a non starter besides the fact I'd never attend a baby shower to begin with.

Hopefully she only gets married once. Miss the game

Baby showers are entirely different from wedding.

I get what you're saying but they are in the same ballpark and they are for women

A random family member is a little different than your own daughter. I couldn’t imagine missing something important for my daughter to go watch people that don’t even know I exist play a game.

You’ll hear for the rest of your life that you even considered it. Might as well.

If Texas loses to Ole Piss this week it will be the 2:30 start more than likely as the luster of the game will not be a big especially with Florida vs Kentucky that week if both continue to win

Couples showers are so lame. Yeah let’s just ruin every boyfriend or husband’s day so we can stand around with strangers and watch you open gifts. Ugh I work my arse off to have my weekend to myself and my own family

Just don't RSVP. Its your daughter's shower. They aren't going to turn you away at the door if you don't. They need you to pay for the wedding.
