If it was Auburn/Alabama/Tennessee, nothing would be said but when LSU gets ahead of everyone it is a major problem. Same goes for the Saints in the NFL. NFL changed overtime rule because the Saints beat Farve and the Vikings in the NFC Championship. If Vikings win that game, NFL would still have the same overtime rule today.

Emmanuel whatever his name is had a great rant on CFB live.
He basically said people are overreacting by acting like LSU is brining back 5 year NFL vets. He mentioned how each guy was an UDFA and aren’t making nfl rosters so they’re taking advantage of their 5th year.
Totally reasonable assessment.
The media is thriving on the clickbait headlines “FORMER NFL PLAYER RETURNS TO COLLEGE AT LSU”
He basically said people are overreacting by acting like LSU is brining back 5 year NFL vets. He mentioned how each guy was an UDFA and aren’t making nfl rosters so they’re taking advantage of their 5th year.

Did he say the same when Alabama brought in a pro basketball player last basketball season because of a TRO? Did he say the same thing when Ole Miss brought back a 6th year player, that was specifically ruled ineligible by the NCAA, after a Mississippi judge granted a TRO.
