Tony’s a great a coach, but allows doucheness, so it adds to teams wanting to knock the smug off you.

He doesn't just allow it. He models it for his players. In this case, their behavior is reflective of what they see from their coach.

Weird timing for this post. I am glad the admin went with J, but are you equating Tony V with some scrub that has no business being around? While LSU is a betting favorite to win it all this year, until they do both coaches have 1 CWS title to their name and 2 Omaha appearances in the same time frame.

It’s also not fair to put Tennessee and lsu baseball on equal playing fields as programs. It’s like comparing Kentucky basketball to lsu basketball. If Will Wade did with lsu basketball what Tony Vitello did with Tenn baseball, we would have crowned him the best coach of all time already.

Disagreeing with a lineup is not on the same level as wanting Jay fired. I've disagreed with many lineups, but I easily acknowledge that Jay knows infinitely more than we do, and I want him here for a very long time. For example, I think Jay should have let Larson hit for Reaves in the 7th (I think) so Braswell could go in as a defensive replacement. That doesn't equate to wanting him fired. Not to mention, I don't know Jay's thought process. I'm sure he felt the game was safe, so we didn't need Larson's bat there, and it was best to let Reaves work something out.
This place is eaten up with trolls, but it would be boring as hell if we all agreed about every single detail.
